Anna Danesi, Italy: "We entered the field on the right foot, and we were good both at the block and in attacks but they gave us a hard time. Now we have to think about tomorrow because on paper it is the most difficult game in the pool. We must think only of ourselves and not of Russia, if we play as we know how, we will do well." Lucia Bosetti, Italy: "We know there is still a lot to do, many of us had a short period of rest, practically we never stopped and honestly it is not always easy to find the rhythm in such a long event. We know that the Olympic Qualification Tournament in Catania will be our main goal of the season, so we work with the intention of arriving at that weekend in the best possible condition. As for tonight's game, we are aware that it was not our best performance, but it was important to win and we did." Davide Mazzanti, Italy: "Korea played a very good match in serves, we know that Korea is a good team in this fundamental. We are not happy with our match, but it was a very important win because we want to conquer the Final Six and it will be important, again, also to win our last match here in Perugia." Stefano Lavarini, Korea: "Our objective was to stay on the field as much as possible. Today the goal was to not give up and try to play as many actions as possible, find ways to make the point because at this level, even if we show a higher level of defence the problem is still get the points. We found some solutions in our hands with the block and at the moment this is what interests me. We come from a culture that favors the second line game and at this level, we do a little fatigue." Zoran Terzić, head coach of Serbia: "Well, this one was very different, in fact it was the first time ever we played with this line-up, and most of these girls played their first ever official match for the national team. And it was notable, especially in the first set, when they were too tight, under pressure. But after that, they got better and they became more relaxed. As for tomorrow, I guess the match with Turkey will resemble the one we played yesterday, against the Netherlands." Stefano Lavarini, head coach of Korea: "In the first set we took risks, we were brave and we attacked aggressively and we managed to win it. After that, Serbia raised their level of play, and we fell under pressure, but overall I noticed some positive things in our game." Emilija Antanasijević, setter in the Serbian team: "I want to congratulate my team on this victory. It was my debut in the national team, and it could be seen at the start of the match, we were all nervous. But after that it got better. I am really glad I played my first official match in Belgrade, and I am proud of it." Su Ji Kim, team captain of Korea: "In the first set we managed to do what we talked about but then afterwards we lost focus, I guess. But it was a good experience for us, we have learnt a lot from this match."
