--DeVonta Smith broke the record for most receiving yards by a rookie in Eagles history. Receptions (64), Receiving yards (916), breaking DeSean Jacksons old record of 912 yards. --Devonta Smith set the Eagles rookie record for touchdowns with (5) TDs. --DeVonta breaks the franchise record with fewest targeted, he did it while blocking on 40% of his snaps. As a senior at Alabama in 2020, Smith recorded over 1,800 yards with 23 touchdowns, for which he won the Heisman Trophy. Smith was selected by the Philadelphia Eagles with the tenth overall selection in the 2021 NFL Draft, who had traded up two spots with the Dallas Cowboys to select him. Smith signed a four-year rookie contract, worth $20.1 million, on June 3, 2021.
