ORLANDO -- Jordan faces his main nemesis during his second comeback - Shaq and Penny's Magic. This time it is the '96 version of the team, not the '95 team that the Magic eliminated. Shaq and Penny established their presence early, while the Bulls struggled. After a timeout, Chicago regrouped and came back aggressive on defense and went on the break. Jordan got it going and scored 18 first quarter pts. Shaq committed 2 early fouls too. Bulls up 31-22 after one. The second quarter was closer, and the Magic fought back. THey regained the lead twice here, but Bulls finished strong and come out on top by 3, 52-49 going into tthe half. In the 3rd quarter, the Bulls started to run away. Lead ballooned to as much as 18. THey com eout of the quarter, leading by 14, 82-68. The home team was not done yet, however. They were able to get to within 7. But Shaq committed his 6th and final foul with 6 mins remaining, and it seemed that would be the end as the Bulls had an 11-pt lead at that time. But Penny Hardaway refused to go down easily. He would score 17 4th quarter pts to try to carry the Magic back. But the Bulls continued their flawless execution and maintained the lead. Bulls win 112-102. POG: Jordan. 42 pts, 4 rebs, 10 assts. Pippen added added 23 pts, 8 assts and 6 stls. Kukoc had a good game off the bench with 18 pts. Rodman was solid all around, had 11 pts, 11 rebs, 8 assts. Penny finished with 29 pts, 4 rebs, 7 assts, 1 stl. Shaq had 21 pts and 11 rebs before fouling out. Anderson added 18.
