Olympiacos Piraeus claimed another solid home win when it defeated visiting LDLC ASVEL Villeurbanne at the Peace and Friendship Stadium on Friday night. Tyler Dorsey led all scorers with 19 points in just 21 minutes. Sasha Vezenkov followed him with 15 on 6-of-7 two-point shooting, as Kostas Papanikolau posted 13 points and 6 boards. Dylan Osetkowski poured in 13 points to pace ASVEL, as Youssoupha Fall and Marcos Knight scored 11 apiece in the losing effort. In a game where neither team had a lead larger than 7 points, Olympiacos Piraeus pull out a dramatic 84-87 overtime win over UNICS Kazan on Friday night. The Reds registered their third consecutive win, and second on the road, to improve to 9-4 record, while UNICS had its four-game winning streak snapped, dropping to 7-6. Sasha Vezenkov scored half of his game-high 22 points in the fourth quarter and overtime to lead Olympiacos. Kostas Sloukas finished with 12 points and 8 assists, while Giannoulis Larentzakis and Moustapha Fall scored 10 apiece in a victory. Lorenzo Brown scored 21, and Isaiah Canaan netted 20 for the hosts. John Brown and Mario Hezonja added 11 apiece in a losing effort.
