Iowa State has won the 2021 Fiesta Bowl against the Oregon Ducks, by a final score of 34-17. This game was the 50th all-time Fiesta Bowl, which consisted of an interesting, ranked matchup, between the Oregon Ducks and Iowa State Cyclones. The Iowa State quarterback, Brock Purdy and the Oregon quarterback, Tyler Shough, are both from Arizona and have known each other since their childhoods. Iowa State came into this game ranked 10th in the AP polls, compared to the Oregon Ducks, who were ranked 25th. Iowa State had the advantage with their BIG pass catchers who had an average advantage of 7’’ over the Oregon Ducks DBs. Oregon Ducks: Anthony Brown, played majority of the game, after Tyler Shough was benched. Travis Dye was the leading rusher on the ground. Johnny Johnson III, Mycah Pittman, Jaylon Redd and Hunter Kampmoyer led the way in the receiving game. Jamal Hill played fantastic on defense, with some impressive tackles. The end the season in a very disappointing way, after beating the 13th ranked USC Trojans last week. They do have the 6th ranked 2021 football recruiting class though. They have recruits like Kingsley Suamataia, Troy Franklin and also their new quarterback, Ty Thompson. Iowa State Cyclones: Brock Purdy was fantastic at the QB position. He passed 20/29, with one passing touchdown. He also added 39 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Breece Hall and Kene Nwangwu ran the ball well. Charlie Kolar and Xavier Hutchinson led the way as the top receivers for Brock Purdy. We hope you enjoy the video. Poslední utkání roku 2020 se Dukle nevydařilo tolik, jak by si sama představovala. Na ledě Kladna sice vedla 2:0 a v polovině zápasu ještě 3:1, jenže domácí do konce druhé třetiny srovnali a červenožlutí nakonec padli s hlavním rivalem soutěže 5:7. Kladno nebylo výrazně lepším týmem, jenže dokázalo trestat jihlavské chyby. „Byl to vyrovnaný zápas. Soupeř byl o chlup silnější, my jsme v nějakých momentech dávali puky pozdě a oni dobře napadali. Bohužel jim to tam napadalo a zápas skončil tak, jak skončil,“ mrzí obránce Daniela Koláře. Dukla tak po čtyřech výhrách v řadě a po třech výhrách venku za sebou tentokrát padla, ale kalendářní rok 2020 uzavře na prvním místě tabulky s poměrně slušnou formou. Možná tak škoda, že se mezi svátky nehraje. „Je to škoda. Jsme docela rozjetí a jedna porážka nás nezastaví. Budeme pracovat dále a určitě to bude dobré,“ hlásí „Kolda“.
