Playing for the Toronto Maple Leafs is different from playing almost anywhere else in hockey. In Toronto, every single playoff game feels like the Stanley Cup Final. For years, Mitch Marner was at the center of that pressure. No matter how many points he put up, fans only cared about one thing: playoff success. And when the Leafs lost, the blame always seemed to land on him first. Now in Vegas, the difference is obvious. Marner looks calmer, more confident, and way more aggressive offensively. He already has four playoff goals and looks like a completely different player than the one fans constantly criticized in Toronto. The talent was never the issue.
