No Estádio do Dragão, frente ao Benfica, o avançado brasileiro marcou aos 92 minutos e selou uma vitória portista por 2-1, na 29.ª jornada da I Liga. Esse lance decidiu um clássico de peso enorme nas contas do título e colocou os azuis e brancos na frente da liderança à entrada para a última ronda do campeonato. A imagem desse momento continua viva na memória portista: Kelvin em explosão, os companheiros a correrem para o abraçar e um Dragão em delírio depois de um desfecho dramático que fez justiça à raça do FC Porto. Foi um instante que resumiu toda a tensão e toda a grandeza de uma reta final de temporada decidida ao detalhe. Mais do que um simples golo, aquele remate tornou-se um símbolo eterno do portismo. Kelvin não precisou de muito mais para garantir um lugar especial no imaginário do clube.
