He found a calm ally in Abdul Samad, whose explosive 48 off 34 turned the tide. Together, their match-defining stand absorbed the pressure and guided Zalmi home with 28 balls to spare. Earlier, it was Hardie again who starred with the ball, returning incredible figures of 4 for 27 to skittle the Kingsmen for 129 inside 18 overs. Saim Ayub fought a lone battle with a gritty 54 off 50, but the rest of the Hyderabad batting crumbled under the relentless Zalmi attack. Nahid Rana was equally devastating with 2 for 22.
