Obsession is a key theme in this episode - should it be strived for or is it always damaging? Jake and Damian explore Eddie’s management style as he explains that he leads with a philosophy of focusing deeply on the individual. Eddie shares how although he is deeply understanding of his players, he does not treat himself with the same empathy. Having high personal standards, and being kinder towards others than to yourself, is something we commonly hear from high performers. When watching, ask yourself: If you make a mistake, do you talk to yourself the way you’d speak to someone else? Think about why you use different language to talk to others. Make a deliberate point of stopping when you are being unkind to yourself. Reflect on if you would talk to others in the same way and then revisit the conversation with yourself. How often do you do this in a week? Während des EM-Spiels von Dänemark gegen Finnland am Samstag kollabiert der dänische Starspieler Christian Eriksen auf dem Rasen und bleibt regungslos liegen. #Eriksen #EM2021 #Dänemark Sanitäter kämpfen minutenlang um sein Leben, tausende Zuschauer im Stadion und Millionen an den Bildschirmen bangen um Eriksen. Die schockierten dänischen Spieler schlagen die Hände vor ihr Gesicht, im Stadion herrscht eine gespenstische Stille. Nachdem die Ärzte und Sanitäter den mit einer Plane abgeschirmten Eriksen vom Platz transportierten, bittet ein Stadionsprecher die Fans, auf ihren Plätzen zu bleiben und das Stadion nicht zu verlassen. Es dauert mehr als eine quälend lange Stunde, ehe der europäische Fußballverband Uefa und dänische Verband DBU mitteilen, dass der 29-Jährige bei Bewusstsein ist und ins Krankenhaus gebracht wurde. Die Fans im Stadion werden durch die Anzeigentafel informiert. Das Spiel soll um 20.30 Uhr fortgesetzt werden, in der Wartezeit zeigen die Anhänger beider Mannschaften ihre Empathie und Solidarität. Finnische Fans rufen: „Christian“. Dänische Fans rufen zurück: „Eriksen!“ Den Aussagen einiger Spieler zufolge soll Eriksen selbst darum gebeten haben, das Spiel wieder anzupfeifen. Am Ende siegte Finnland mit 1:0.
