I Crashed! Mountain Biking Downhill Flow Trails at Cedar Creek | Ruidoso, New Mexico
water tower trail (T120E) + cedar creek downhill trail (T120F) + cedar creek loop (T120A) During my trip to El Paso I decided to visit Ruidoso for some quite different MTB riding experience. This place is less-known when people talk about mountain biking in New Mexico. However, I find that sitting in the middle of Sierra Blanca mountain range, the trails here have a lot to offer, from beginner-friendly smooth singletracks, to downhill flow trails and rocky descents. There's also a lift-access bike park (Ski Apache) just out of town. I think Ruidoso is a wonderful MTB destination for Texas riders as it's within a one-day drive from most Texas cities and there's no such terrain and elevation in Texas. The trails in this video are in the Cedar Creek Recreation Area of Lincoln National Forest. Riders need to first climb up to the ridge to access these downhill trails. There're two climbing routes with different grades. The downhill trails are smooth and fast with lots of (optional) jumps and berms. In theory, the riders have a chance to correct where they previously went wrong, and makeup time on tracks that they're now more accustomed to. But the weather is against them! Thunderstorms affected the pro stage, forcing riders to adapt to new conditions immediately for their race run, and more rain has fallen overnight making the exposed tracks more difficult to ride than last time. Congratulations to Melanie Pugin who forged herself a sizeable gap to take her seasons first win and to Jack Moir who took the debut win of his EWS career after constant improvement in his results. Round 2, Game 6: Terance Mann's Out of Body Experience
On the biggest stage in his entire life, second-year player Terance Mann delivered when the Los Angeles Clippers needed him the most. The Clippers, down superstar Kawhi Leonard and trailing the Utah Jazz by as much as 25 points in the third quarter, found a way to win Game 6 and, as a result, earn a trip to their first ever Western Conference Finals. It took 51 years for the franchise to do so, but they were ultimately led by one of their youngest players. Mann finished with a game-high-tying 39 points, and did so on some of the most ridiculous efficiency that you’ll ever see. Utah consistently left him open in the corners and he made them pay for it. He attacked them downhill, uphill and around the hill. The Jazz were left lifeless. It’s one of the greatest singular performances in the history of the Clippers franchise, and that’s what this video breakdown is going to examine. We’re going to look at just some of the ways that Terance Mann killed the Utah Jazz and helped send the Clippers to a place they’ve never been before. Enjoy and stay safe!
