I Crashed! Mountain Biking Downhill Flow Trails at Cedar Creek | Ruidoso, New Mexico

water tower trail (T120E) + cedar creek downhill trail (T120F) + cedar creek loop (T120A) During my trip to El Paso I decided to visit Ruidoso for some quite different MTB riding experience. This place is less-known when people talk about mountain biking in New Mexico. However, I find that sitting in the middle of Sierra Blanca mountain range, the trails here have a lot to offer, from beginner-friendly smooth singletracks, to downhill flow trails and rocky descents. There's also a lift-access bike park (Ski Apache) just out of town. I think Ruidoso is a wonderful MTB destination for Texas riders as it's within a one-day drive from most Texas cities and there's no such terrain and elevation in Texas. For more information about cycling in Ruidoso, check out this nice website: https://www.discoverruidoso.com/ruidoso-cycling. The trails in this video are in the Cedar Creek Recreation Area of Lincoln National Forest. Riders need to first climb up to the ridge to access these downhill trails. There're two climbing routes with different grades. The downhill trails are smooth and fast with lots of (optional) jumps and berms. These trails can be dusty and loose so watch out and control your speed at the corners and don't fail (like me). ###################### Intro: 0:00 Water Tower Trail: 0:05 Cedar Creek Downhill Trail: 03:45
