Welcome to the Detroit Lions Podcast! The Detroit Lions met the Green Bay Packers for the second time in the 2021 NFL season, this time at Ford Field. Both teams have pretty much set their respective positions in the playoffs or draft, so this game is about something a little different. Detroit Lions Podcast Previews The Green Bay Packers The Green Bay Packers look to be sitting some key players for this game. They have the top seed (and bye) locked in for the NFC, so resting key players makes a lot of sense. At the same time the Detroit Lions have pretty much locked in their 2nd overall draft pick, barring a miracle by Jacksonville, their seeding isn't likely to change win or lose. In many cases a game like this would be just a nice way to lull away a Sunday afternoon, but the fact that it is within the division raises the stakes. Las Vegas set up the odds much differently this week than throughout the season, and this game just might prove to be fun to watch for Lions and Packers fans alike. We are joined (of course) by WWJ-Radio airtime superstar, Tony Ortiz, to break down what to expect in this match-up, and we’ll pick up some fun insider stories from TO along the way.
