Gulf Island Buddy Boat Sailing: Spinnakers and Friends! | Ep 6 | Sailing Sea Dream of Clyde
I was joined by Alex C, Sarah, Alex L, and Reid for a nice weekend cruising through the Gulf Islands. The first day of the weekend started with a late evening departure from Cowichan Bay with everyone aboard, and finished in Canoe Cove where we went to go pick up Alex L's new boat, Hepatica! A beautiful calm morning made for a great chance to practice flying the spinnaker. We dodged lots of ferries as the wind built, and then carried on to Wallace Island with a perfect breeze carrying us there quickly. After a nice night in Princess Cove, everyone except me piled onto Hepatica to head to Ladysmith and home for the work week, and I carried onto Silva Bay on Gabriola Island where I worked aboard. Saw some harbour porpoises, too! Wonderful weekend in wonder places! Tunes played by me, with the help of my new 1989 Yamaha Portasound PSS-270 keyboard! Love this thing!
