Maye has been one of the best players on the Jets’ defense this season, and replacing him will not be easy. However, the Jets are set to get some help from previous injured safeties in Ashtyn Davis and Sharrod Neasman. Wide receiver Jamison Crowder should make his 2021 NFL season debut vs. the Tennessee Titans. Crowder has not played after testing positive for COVID-19 and then suffering a groin injury. Crowder’s availability should help QB Zach Wilson, especially with WR Elijah Moore dealing with a concussion. New York Jets trade rumors continue to surround WR Denzel Mims.
