We wrapped up our first week of the 2021 CPL season with a Saturday night tilt against HFX Wanderers. It was an intense battle with both sides getting chances...and showing a bit of fatigue after a grueling 7-day schedule amidst some challenging hot temperatures in Winnipeg. Tyson Farago got the start in net and put in a clean sheet performance. And while there were chances at the other end, the boys just couldn't find the back of the net this evening. A scoreless draw would be the end result and a much needed day off coming Sunday for the team before they get ready for A Thursday night matchup with Forge FC. Saturday night saw the Cavs battle HFX Wanderers to a hard-fought 0-0 draw. Tyson Farago got the start and delivered with a solid clean sheet, while Richard Luca came in early in the first half and performed admirably. Some late-match moments by Ahinga Selemani almost had us seeing magic for the second game in a row.
