Here's how the 23-layer chocolate cake at Michael Jordan's The Steak House in N.Y.C in made. Ingredients like eggs, butter, flour, and cocoa powder are combined to make a cake batter. The thick cake mix takes over an hour to bake. It's cut into 11 sheets and layered with 11 layers of chocolate mousse. The finished cake is topped off with a layer of dark chocolate ganache. They also got a huge lift from Bryce Love, who rushed 30 times for 263 yards, second only to Christian McCaffrey’s 284 in last year Big Game in Stanford annals. Costello, a redshirt freshman, came off the bench after starter Keller Chryst was hurt and Ryan Burns was ineffective. The Cardinal offense looked dead in the water in the second quarter. But Costello led Stanford to 20 points in the first half and 35 more in the second, leading the Cardinal to a 58-34 win in the home opener at Stanford Stadium. He completed 13 of 19 passes for 123 yards and two touchdowns with no interceptions. Stanford had to withstand the expected late-game heroics of Josh Rosen, the nation’s leading passer. His TD pass to Eldridge Massington cut the lead to 44-34 with 6:59 left, but Love bolted 69 yards to a touchdown. The icing on the cake was provided by Cameron Scarlett’s 4-yard TD, after his own 62-yard run, in the closing minutes. He completed 40 of 60 passes for 480 yards and three TDs with two interceptions. But the mistake-prone Bruins, who committed four turnovers and 13 penalties for 132 yards, fell to 2-2, 0-1 Pac-12. Scarlett scored three touchdowns and Jet Toner kicked three field goals. But Costello, given another chance when Burns was benched for the second time, found his rhythm and saved Stanford. Costello, who broke many of Carson Palmer’s passing records at Santa Margarita Catholic High School, showed an ability to threaten with the run or pass on the rollout. He gives Stanford an elusiveness it didn’t have with Chryst or Burns. He also showed he can stay in the pocket and throw passes on the money. He led Stanford (2-2, 1-1 Pac-12) to a 23-13 halftime lead. And after UCLA scored a touchdown on Soso Jamabo’s 3-yard run in the third quarter, Costello threaded a strike to Trent Irwin between two defenders for a 15-yard touchdown, regaining a 10-point cushion. Highlights of Dulwich's 4-1 win over Whitehawk in the Second Round of this year's FA Trophy. After losing at this stage last year, the Hamlet were aiming for a last-16 appearance for the first time in 33 years. Trailing 1-0 courtesy of a Mike West goal with 18 minutes to play, that wait looked like it would be continuing, but Dulwich had other ideas. First, a poor clearance from a Whitehawk defender found Ibrahim Kargbo at the edge of the area. He crossed and Gavin Tomlin was there to plant a header into the bottom corner. Three minutes later, the game was turned on its head, as Tomlin popped up again, this time Nathan Green the architect, as Tomlin this time found the other corner. Dulwich had their tails up, and duly found a third, Nyren Clunis capitalising on a weak pass to tee up Ashley Carew to smash home from just outside the box. The cherry on top of the cake was added in injury time, when Carew reacted fasted following Hawks keeper Ross Flitney saving his penalty attempt to make it four goals in 18 minutes, and complete an unbelievable turnaround. Gavin Rose and his troops will now travel to National League side Braintree Town in Round Three on February 4th. The Reds had the better of the game with two disallowed goals in the first half, but with no other chances going in, this Doods cup match went to straight to penalties. The decider began well for FC with Chris Lynch and James Knowles' spot-kicks sandwiching a save by Dave Carnell to United two up, but it soon went pear shaped. Greg Daniels and Luke Ashworth had their pens saved to put Curzon in the driving seat. Jerome Wright smashed his 12-yarder home, but it was a piece of cake for the Nash to win it as Jake Parker sent the Blues through in the Doodson cup.

After seven shooters were all stymied in the shootout, Ducks winger Devante Smith-Pelly buried the game winner in the bottom of the fourth round to give the Ducks a satisfying 4-3 victory over Los Angeles at Staples Center. It was the capper of a great night for Smith-Pelly, who scored a big goal for Anaheim in the second period. "They all knew they just needed a point," said Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau. "We never talked about it, but you could tell after the game was over, they all knew. Some of them were high-fiving each other. That's a pretty big accomplishment for them. Then, we said, 'Let's go win it in a shootout.'" It was the fourth win in five meetings with the Kings this season, including four in a row after losing in a shootout in their first matchup. "You never want a team to think they can beat you, and this year we've been able to handle them," said Ducks captain Ryan Getzlaf. "We've had years in the past where it was tough to beat them. It's good to have that last win against them going into the playoffs, in case we have to face them.The Ducks had reason to celebrate once this game went to OT, however, as the standings point they earned gave them the best record in the Western Conference and a No. 1 seed in the playoffs, where they will open against Dallas. It's the first time in the 20-year history of the franchise they have earned the top spot in the West."Anytime you have an opportunity to close someone out and solidify your spot, that's what you want to do," Getzlaf said. "Our team showed that tonight, that we were able to go out and grasp that opportunity. That's good visual and mental help for us."The Ducks took a 3-2 lead with 4:47 left in the third on a beautiful play by Matt Beleskey, who headed down right wing on the rush and faked a pass before unleashing a wicked wrister over the glove of a fooled Jonathan Quick.But the Kings came right back a minute and a half later when Anze Kopitar slid into the slot and slung a shot past Anaheim goalie Frederik Andersen to make it 3-3.
