Caf Champions League | Raja Casablanca vs Brikama United 4-0 | Goals & Highlights (24.08.2019). Raja Casablanca to host Brikama Utd in CAF Champions league tomorrow. Moroccan side Raja Casablanca will host Gambian champions Brikama United in the second-leg encounter of the 2019-2020 Confederation of African Football (CAF) champion’s league tomorrow, in Casablanca. The Casablanca club requires only a goalless draw to cruise to the second round of the continent’s elite club competition following their 3-3 draw with Brikama United in the first-leg match played at the Independence Stadium in Bakau, a fortnight ago, and the Sateyba boys must snatch a victory to progress to the second round. A CAF Champions League goal frenzy continued Saturday as Etoile Sahel scored seven, Zamalek six and Raja Casablanca and Mamelodi Sundowns four each as they won preliminary ties. Karim Aribi struck four for Etoile of Tunisia as they crushed Hafia of Guinea 7-1 in Mediterranean resort Sousse having trailed 2-1 after the first leg. Mostafa Mohamed and Mahmoud Shikabala bagged a brace each to help Zamalek of Egypt overwhelm Dekedaha of Somalia 6-0 and complete a record-equalling 13-0 overall triumph. Young Africans of Tanzania set the record for a two-leg winning margin at 13 goals in 2009 and Al Ahly, the Cairo neighbours of Zamalek, equalled it Friday by firing nine past Atlabara of South Sudan. Ayoub Nanah netted twice in the second half as Raja coasted to a 4-0 home win over Brikama United of the Gambia after the clubs had shared six goals when they first met two weekends ago. Sundowns scored all their goals before half-time in Pretoria as they walloped AS Otoho of Congo Brazzaville 4-0 to comfortably wipe out a 2-1 first leg deficit. Uruguayan Gaston Sirino scored twice for Sundowns, one of only two South African clubs who have won the elite Confederation of African Football club competition. The other side, Orlando Pirates, bowed out after drawing 1-1 in Soweto with debutants Green Eagles of Zambia, who took a 1-0 lead into the return match. A Happy Jele header off a corner on the hour gave the Buccaneers a second-leg advantage that lasted just one minute before Amit Shamende struck the ball into the corner of the net. Although two-time champions JS Kabylie of Algeria lost 3-2 against Al Merrikh of Sudan in Omdurman, they scraped through on away goals. Late goals from Nabil Saadou and Toufik Addadi rescued the Algerians after Merrikh had established a 3-0 second leg lead. Points table Afcon 2019 qualifiers AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS QUALIFICATION Sunday's Afcon qualifiers Preview: Tanzania, Zimbabwe, DR Congo and Togo in final push for Afcon ticket AFRICA CUP OF NATIONS QUALIFICATION TANZANIA V UGANDA ZIMBABWE V CONGO CONGO DR V LIBERIA CAPE VERDE ISLANDS V LESOTHO TANZANIA UGANDA ZIMBABWE CONGO CONGO DR LIBERIA LESOTHO CAPE VERDE ISLANDS AFRICAN ALL STARS On Sunday, several African nations will make one final push for a place at the continent's showpiece event Article continues below Tanzania host Uganda on Sunday in an East African derby as they make a bid for their first Africa Cup of Nations berth since 1980. The Taifa Stars need a win over Uganda in Dar-es-Salaam and will pray that Lesotho falters in Cape Verde. Coached by Emmanuel Amunike, Tanzania will fancy their chances against an already-qualified Uganda. Uganda are guaranteed to finish as Group L leaders, and forward Farouk Miya has stressed the need to finish this qualification campaign on a high. “We are ready for the task ahead of us on Sunday and I know Tanzania will come with full force wanting to win the match to secure qualification but we also want to finish on a high. We shall give it our best shot,” Miya was quoted as saying by the Uganda football Federation . In the other Group L encounter in Praia, Lesotho are also vying for a maiden Afcon appearance with an away win over Cape Verde. While winning away appears to be an insurmountable task for Lesotho, three points will be enough to see them make history without minding how Tanzania and Uganda play. Elsewhere, Togo will be in Benin seeking nothing but victory to secure Afcon qualification from Group D. Togo are in an unfamiliar fourth place in this group and only victory will take them to Egypt2019. Togo captain Emmanuel Adebayor has hinted at retiring after this match. "It's quite possible that Sunday's match will be my last with Togo, whether we qualify or not,” Adebayor was quoted as saying by Radio France International. “I would give the best of myself and after the match, we'll see. Now it's true that flying, coming to Lome, playing for the national team, it's not like before, it's not like in 2000 or 2001. I'm not 17 anymore, I'm 35 now and it's getting more and more complicated. But the nation needs me, I am obliged to answer the national team call,” he added. Meanwhile, in Group G Zimbabwe are looking to book their Afcon ticket against Congo Brazzaville in Harare. Just a point will see Zimbabwe qualify and Warriors vice-captain Ovidy Karuru is aware of the expectations on them. “This is the match they were obviously looking forward to win given what is at stake. We cannot afford to lose the match and fail to qualify for the Afcon finals,” While a draw will be enough for group G leaders Zimbabwe, Congo need to win this match to confirm their place at the Afcon tournament. Lastly, the other Group G tie will see DR Congo welcome Liberia and a win for Florent Ibenge’s men should secure themselves qualification. Teams
