Rolando Romero Vs. Isaac 'PITBULL' Cruz | HIGHLIGHTS #boxing #sports
🥊 FIGHT DESCRIPTION: Isaac “Pitbull” Cruz (26-2-1, 18 KOs) unleashed relentless pressure from the opening bell, completely overwhelming Rolando “Rolly” Romero. The punishment became so severe that Romero had to be examined by the ringside doctor before being cleared to enter the fateful eighth round. Romero was nearly dropped in the opening round when a vicious Cruz left hook crashed into his forehead. The pressure only intensified. In the fifth, Romero was penalized a point for excessive holding, a clear sign that he was struggling to withstand Cruz’s nonstop attack. Then, in the seventh, Romero was rocked again after Cruz detonated a massive right uppercut on his chin, leaving him badly hurt and saved only by the ropes as he tried to stay upright. Cruz had come prepared for destruction. “I was prepared for this. I wasn't here to just fight. I was here to terminate him,” Cruz declared after the battle. “I did my talking right here in the ring.” The victory marked Cruz’s fourth straight win since his unanimous-decision loss to Gervonta Davis on December 5, 2021, in Los Angeles. Now, the Mexican contender was making it clear that he intended to rule the 140-pound division for years to come. Romero, the taller fighter fighting out of Las Vegas, never found the comfort of home advantage as the T-Mobile Arena erupted behind a fiercely pro-Mexico crowd. He fell to 15-2, suffering his second defeat in his last three fights. Romero had previously been stopped by Davis in the sixth round on May 28, 2022, in Brooklyn, losing his WBA lightweight title opportunity before bouncing back with a stoppage victory over Ismael Barroso on May 13, 2023, in Las Vegas, to capture the WBA junior welterweight championship. But against Cruz, Romero could never settle into his rhythm. Cruz relentlessly cut off the ring, trapped him under pressure, and hammered him with punishing power shots. From the first bell to the brutal exchanges that preceded the eighth round, Cruz refused to give Romero anywhere to escape. Medvedev disqualified for hitting fan with ball in China Open match against Djokovic
After a forehand volley winner from Djokovic, the ball bounced off the advertising boards towards Medvedev, who smacked a backhand that sailed into the stands. It hit a spectator in the front row behind him. He clutched his left eye and appeared to be in pain as he walked out, assisted by stadium staff. This is why net is important!? 🤯
Note: This video has been transformatively edited with added commentary and storytelling to provide a unique viewing experience. Note: A basketball net helps make it easier to see and hear when the ball passes through the hoop. Note: The net also slows the ball as it drops, helping it fall downward instead of bouncing away after a made shot. Credit: Original owner/creator A basketball hoop could work without a net, but the net gives players and referees a clearer sign that the shot went in. Its movement and sound can make a fast basket easier to recognize, while also guiding the ball downward after it passes through. #BasketballHoop #BasketballFacts #Shorts

Will Team India Experiment? 🤔 IND vs WI 1st ODI Preview 2026 | GBB Cricket
Will Team India Experiment? 🤔 IND vs WI 1st ODI Preview 2026 | GBB Cricket The IND vs WI 3-match ODI series kicks off on September 27, 2026, at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram. This series opener officially begins India's 2026-27 international home season. The spotlight is firmly on the much-awaited return of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli to the ODI setup. While fans anticipate a batting masterclass, the West Indies bowling attack brings genuine firepower. Express pacers like Shamar Joseph and Alzarri Joseph have the pace and bounce to severely test the legendary Ro-Ko duo early in the innings. The battle between India's top order and the Caribbean speedsters will dictate the match's tempo. Under the captaincy of Shubman Gill, the Indian squad blends experienced veterans like Ravindra Jadeja with younger options. This creates a massive dilemma for the final Playing 11. The team management must decide whether to experiment by fielding younger options like Naman Dhir, Auqib Nabi, or Gurnoor Brar. West Indies, led by Shai Hope, bring a balanced squad featuring Sherfane Rutherford and Gudakesh Motie, fully capable of springing a surprise. With the Thiruvananthapuram pitch expected to offer early movement for the fast bowlers, winning the toss will be crucial. Do you think India should experiment with their Playing 11 or field their absolute strongest team?
