HIGHLIGHTS | Arsenal vs Leeds United (2-0) | Carabao Cup | Super sub Chambers & Nketiah

We booked our place in the quarter-finals of the Carabao Cup after second half goals from Calum Chambers and Eddie Nketiah saw off the challenge of Leeds. Coming into the game off the back of a hugely-encouraging win against Aston Villa and ahead of a tricky clash at Leicester this weekend, it was no surprise to see Mikel Arteta shuffle his pack. There were nine changes to the team, with just Ben White and Emile Smith Rowe retaining their places – but most of the attention was focused on the bench, where Salah Oulad M'Hand was included for the first time. We made much of the early running in a tightly-contested first half, with Eddie Nketiah dragging a shot wide and Sead Kolasinac’s effort from a tight angle saved. But Leeds posed a real threat on the break, and had a clear sight of goal when Diego Llorente played a pinpoint ball over the back of our defence for Dan James to race in to, but Bernd Leno saved his shot. Our German goalkeeper then made an outstanding save to deny Jack Harrison, after the Leeds man took aim with a fierce shot at the back post, before Smith Rowe flashed one over at the other end. That was it for the first half, but after the interval we took the lead when Chambers – on for the injured Ben White seconds earlier – headed the ball over the line, and after a long pause, the goalline technology awarded it. We doubled our advantage when Nketiah – up against his former loan club – took advantage of an underhit headed backpass by racing on to it, lifting the ball past Illan Meslier and rolling it in for our second of the night. It was the striker’s seventh goal in eight Carabao Cup matches – for both us and Leeds. There was still time for Alex Lacazette to rob Kalvin Phillips and race through, but he blasted his shot over – but it mattered not, our place in the quarter-finals was secure. #arsenal #calumchambers #nketiah Enjoy match highlights, training and behind the scenes to get closer to the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Vivianne Miedema, Nicolas Pepe, Alexandre Lacazette, Leah Williamson, Bernd Leno, Emile Smith Rowe, Nikita Parris, Tobin Heath, Mana Iwabuchi, Jordan Nobbs, Bukayo Saka, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kim Little, Gabriel Martinelli, Aaron Ramsdale, Beth Mead, Ben White, Thomas Partey and more. THE LAST WORD | WATFORD 1-1 NEWCASTLE UNITED
THE LAST WORD | WATFORD 1-1 NEWCASTLE UNITED

Newcastle United's winless start to the Premier League campaign continues after Watford snatched a 1-1 draw in the second half at Vicarage Road. Sean Longstaff gave Newcastle the lead, but Ismaila Sarr levelled for the improved hosts after the break. VAR then denied Watford's Joshua King a late winner for offside, while substitute Jacob Murphy squandered a great chance in stoppage time for the visitors. On a scrappy afternoon that saw seven yellow cards handed out, Australian referee Jarred Gillett made history as he became the first overseas official to take charge of a Premier League match. Watford, who had lost their two previous home matches, almost made the perfect start with Karl Darlow forced into a smart double save to deny Emmanuel Dennis after he was played through by King. But, against a backdrop of more chants against manager Steve Bruce and owner Mike Ashley from the away end, Newcastle soon took the lead. Longstaff had already taken two shots from range, but on 23 minutes, he found the breakthrough. Ben Foster got a hand to his dipping effort, but it wasn't enough to keep it out. Darlow denied Sarr when the Senegal winger drove in from the right and unleashed a shot destined for the bottom corner, before he tipped Juraj Kucka's free kick around the post as the hosts searched for parity. With half time looming, Newcastle squandered an excellent chance for a second. Craig Cathcart's backpass was latched on to by Allan Saint-Maximin, who looked to play in Longstaff, but it was slightly behind him and the midfielder could only shoot over. Newcastle had more chances after the break, with Foster saving from Miguel Almiron, Joelinton and Joe Willock. They paid the price for wastefulness when Sarr levelled with a header at the back post from a corner 18 minutes from time. HIGHLIGHTS | Burnley vs Arsenal (0-1) | Premier League | Odegaard with a beautiful free-kick!
HIGHLIGHTS | Burnley vs Arsenal (0-1) | Premier League | Odegaard with a beautiful free-kick!

The left foot of Martin Odegaard made all the difference as we chalked up back-to-back 1-0 wins in the Premier League. On a hot and sunny afternoon at Turf Moor, the Norwegian midfielder sent a perfectly-placed free-kick beyond the grasp of Nick Pope to seal victory for Mikel Arteta's side. We started the faster of the two sides, with a dangerous low ball from Kieran Tierney threatening the Burnley goal as Nicolas Pepe forced Pope into action. The hosts threatened sparingly. Ben Mee headed over Aaron Ramsdale's goal from a corner, before Gudmundsson's strike was saved by our new stopper. Emile Smith Rowe threatened to score a second when he connected with Pepe's cut-back, but his curling effort whizzed narrowly over Pope's crossbar. The second half brought more opportunities for the Clarets than the first, with Ramsdale forced into action to deny a powerful strike from Maxwel Cornet after the Ivorian international stepped off the bench. Our goalkeeper was in the thick of the action again soon after, when he was adjudged to have tripped Matej Vydra in the box after a backpass from Ben White. However, a VAR review quickly corrected the situation - much to the relief of the travelling support - and no penalty was awarded. Dwight McNeil then drilled a low shot into the side-netting, while Vydra flicked a header just beyond the far post soon after. Frustration grew in the ground as Sean Dyche's side attempted to battle their way back into the game. Despite a late spell of pressure and a couple of forced nervy moments, our defence stood firm in the face of waves of Burnley attacks. The victory marks consecutive clean sheets and sees us continue to build some much-needed positive momentum ahead of next weekend's north London derby. #arsenal #odegaard #burnley Enjoy match highlights, training and behind the scenes to get closer to the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Vivianne Miedema, Nicolas Pepe, Alexandre Lacazette, Leah Williamson, Bernd Leno, Emile Smith Rowe, Nikita Parris, Tobin Heath, Mana Iwabuchi, Jordan Nobbs, Bukayo Saka, Takehiro Tomiyasu, Kim Little, Gabriel Martinelli, Aaron Ramsdale, Beth Mead, Ben White, Thomas Partey and more. HIGHLIGHTS | Chelsea vs Arsenal (0-1) | Smith Rowe | Premier League
HIGHLIGHTS | Chelsea vs Arsenal (0-1) | Smith Rowe | Premier League

Emile Smith Rowe capitalised on a Chelsea mistake to score the only goal of the game, and extend our winning run in the league to three games. Having scored his first ever Premier League goal at the weekend against West Brom, he netted again in the derby to set us on the way to a hard-earned three points. This goal owed a bit more to good fortune though, as he stroked home from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's pass, once Chelsea keeper Kepa Arrizabalaga had scrambled back to prevent an own goal. For much of the rest of the game it was about resolute defending, right from the front back to our five-man defence. That was the system Mikel Arteta went for from the start, but it was the most central of those three centre backs - Pablo Mari - who was caught in possession early on to gift Chelsea the first chance of the game. Kai Havertz nicked the ball off the Spaniards toes to race away on goal, but he blazed over when one-on-one. It was Chelsea's turn to hand out the gifts next though, and it led to Smith Rowe scoring the only goal of the game. Jorginho's wayward backpass put Kepa in difficulty. The keeper managed to palm away from his own goalline, but Aubameyang was lurking to pull the loose ball back to Smith Rowe in front of goal, and his low shot squirmed in off the post. Rob Holding made a superb close-range block from Mason Mount's shot to keep us ahead, but Chelsea kept knocking on the door for the remainder of the half, drawing two smart stops from Bernd Leno. The hosts continued to pin us back at the start of the second half, and we had to remain organised in and around our own penalty box. Christian Pulisic did have the ball in the net, but the goal was disallowed for a clear offside after VAR intervened. Hector Bellerin was introduced and immediately had a sight of goal, but shot tamely after good build up play involving Martin Odegaard. We were certainly coming out of our shells as an attacking threat now, with Odegaard himself blazing over from a promising position. Chelsea - three days before their FA Cup final appointment with Leicester City - piled forward late on and hit the woodwork twice in succession in injury time. But we were rewarded for an excellent defensive effort with a 1-0 win, securing our first double over Chelsea since 2003/04. #arsenal #emilesmithrowe #premierleague Enjoy match highlights, training and behind the scenes to get closer to the likes of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, David Luiz, Vivianne Miedema, Nicolas Pepe, Alexandre Lacazette, Leah Williamson, Bernd Leno, Danielle van de Donk, Willian, Hector Bellerin, Jordan Nobbs, Bukayo Saka, Kim Little, Gabriel Martinelli, Thomas Partey and more. See this crazy Ronaldo reaction after Chiesa scored opening goal vs Torino [Turin Derby 2021]

#JuventusTorino #SerieA2020/2021 This video talks about Torino vs juventus [2-2] Match and reactions. Juventus stutter again as Ronaldo secures Torino draw. Juventus needed a 79th-minute equaliser from Cristiano Ronaldo to rescue a 2-2 draw in the Turin derby against relegation battling Torino on Saturday, leaving the champions' Serie A title defence in tatters. The pressure was on Andrea Pirlo's side to produce a convincing performance after suffering a 1-0 loss to lowly Benevento before the international break, and they started strongly as Federico Chiesa scored after 13 minutes. But striker Antonio Sanabria soon headed Torino level, before latching onto a careless Dejan Kulusevski backpass to fire his side in front in the opening minute of the second half. Ronaldo headed in from close range to equalise but he was flagged for offside, before a VAR review overturned the decision and allowed the goal. "It's a very important point for us and the situation we were going through. I'm sorry we didn't manage to take all three points home, but I think we have to be happy with our performance," Sanabria told DAZN. Juve slipped to fourth place on 56 points, level with Napoli in fifth, who they face on Wednesday, and nine behind leaders Inter, who play Bologna later on Saturday. Torino moved onto 24 points, two clear of the relegation zone in 17th place. The stakes were high for both sides heading into the game, with Torino desperately fighting the drop and Pirlo facing mounting pressure following defeat to Benevento. Pirlo was not helped by United States midfielder Weston McKennie breaking national lockdown rules by hosting a dinner party with team mates Arthur Melo and Paulo Dybala during the week, and all three were left out as punishment. Juve started strongly and Chiesa fired a low shot between Salvatore Sirigu's legs from a tight angle to put them in front, but Torino levelled in the 27th minute when Wojciech Szczesny parried a shot into Sanabria's path for an easy headed finish. The Paraguay international scored his second within 13 seconds of the restart as he anticipated Kulusevski's pass, raced into the box and beat Szczesny at his near post. Sirigu brilliantly denied Ronaldo with a fingertip save but could do nothing about the Portuguese forward's close-range header, which was eventually given after VAR consultation. Torino had Sirigu to thank again when he palmed a Rodrigo Bentancur shot onto the post, while Szczesny made amends for his earlier errors by producing good saves to deny Sanabria and Daniele Baselli efforts late on. Pirlo lamented his players' lapses in concentration after the match. "Unfortunately these errors are happening a little too often, where we lose concentration," Pirlo told DAZN. "We must understand that we can't lose focus even for a second. The objective is to stay as focused as possible because every time that you make a mistake, it is only right that you pay for it."

Real Madrid and Man United To BATTLE For £25m Cristiano Ronaldo?! | ERU

Hello and welcome back to ERU where today Dougie and Henry are breaking down the news that Man United and Real Madrid are chasing Cristiano Ronaldo this summer with Juventus reportedly considering selling him for just £25m. The 36 year old Portuguese legend has been in magnificent form this season for Juventus with only Robert Lewandowski scoring more goals than him in Europe's Top 5 Leagues. But the Old Lady's Champions League exit at the hands of Porto last week has thrown Ronaldo's future into question, with the Sporting CP academy graduate earning a reported £28m per year. Would he be a wise acquisition for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer or should he reunite with the likes of Sergio Ramos and Karim Benzema in Real Madrid? As if that wasn't enough we also breakdown PSG's shocking 2-1 defeat at home to relegation threatened Nantes in a dramatic game. Kylian Mbappe gave away a goal through a foolish backpass and Angel Di Maria had to leave the pitch for personal reasons, as the Parisians lost their 7th League game of the season. Finally we crown Karim Benzema our star of the week, whose two goal display against Elche kept the Spanish title race wide open! ► SUBSCRIBE to EURO FOOTBALL DAILY: http://bit.ly/EUROFDsubscribe ► FOLLOW US ON TWITTER: https://twitter.com/EFDSquad ► FOLLOW US ON INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/efdsquad/ This is Euro Football Daily - the home of European football on YouTube. [Goalkeeper Highlights] Penerapan Filanesia dalam posisi Kiper. Build up/ opsi backpass/ saves
