Y tienen una influencia capital en el Atlético, sobre todo porque Simeone ha reubicado ahí a Marcos Llorente, un recurso indudable en cualquier parte del terreno, también en el carril derecho, pero sin todo el esplendor de la llegada, el desborde, los goles -nueve ya esta campaña-, las asistencias -ocho- y el protagonismo que tiene más arriba; en el interior derecho, en el extremo o en la delantera. En ese panorama (también son baja Héctor Herrera, por quinto duelo seguido por la Covid-19, y José María Giménez, lesionado), Llorente apunta de nuevo al lateral en el esquema de Simeone, en el que se prevé a Jan Oblak, Stefan Savic, Felipe Monteiro, Mario Hermoso, Saúl Ñíguez, Koke Resurrección, Geoffrey Kondogbia, Thomas Lemar, Joao Félix y Luis Suárez, ya sea en un 5-3-2 o en un 4-4-2. Enfrente, el cambio Lampard-Tuchel ha salido bien al Chelsea, que no conoce la derrota bajo el mando del alemán. Jose Mourinho could only watch on in the driving rain at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium as his former club bossed lackluster Spurs, who slipped to a third consecutive defeat. Jorginho's first-half penalty made it seven points from three matches without conceding a goal for Chelsea under Tuchel, lifting them into sixth place. Toothless Tottenham was outclassed and fortunate not to suffer a more emphatic loss as they slipped down to eighth following another lackluster performance. Timo Werner almost got Chelsea off to a dream start when he nodded a long ball from Cesar Azpilicueta just wide in the first minute. Lloris bravely punched away a dangerous cross with Christian Pulisic waiting to pounce and Mateo Kovacic poked a shot wide with Chelsea firmly in command. The excellent Mount was denied by a fine reflex save by Lloris as Spurs were opened up all too easily again before Edouard Mendy was finally called into action, palming away Erik Lamela's shot with just over 10 minutes to go. Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has confirmed that Kurt Zouma and Kai Havertz are both doubts for the Thursday night clash with Tottenham Hotspur in the Premier League. The Blues boss revealed at a press conference on Wednesday that the Frenchman and the German had both suffered minor injuries in training and were being assessed ahead of the huge London derby. However, there is still a chance that both men could regain fitness by Thursday night, which would leave Tuchel with an entirely fit squad to choose from at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Both Havertz and Zouma had to make do with places on the substitutes’ bench as Chelsea beat Burnley 2-0 in their last outing, so it is doubtful that either would start the match against Spurs anyway. There is serious competition for places at centre-back and across the front line in Tuchel’s squad at Stamford Bridge. The Blues played three at the back against the Clarets and Zouma still found himself benched, with Tuchel picking Thiago Silva, Antonio Rudiger and Cesar Azpilicueta ahead of him.
