The Happy Dressing Room #EP 02 : Creating a Positive Atmosphere Concept by Head Coach Monty Desai
Welcome to our video on the concept of "Happy Dressing Room" introduced by the Nepali head coach Monty Desai. In this video, we'll explore the idea of acknowledging and appreciating the efforts of players and officials involved in each match. Coach Desai believes in creating a positive and happy atmosphere in the dressing room after every match, regardless of the result. He believes that this positivity can lead to a better team performance in the future. To achieve this, he has introduced the concept of the "Happy Dressing Room." At the end of each match, Coach Desai hands out a commitment award to a player who has shown exceptional commitment and dedication during the game. The award is nominated by the players themselves, who vote among the team to decide the recipient. This way, the players acknowledge each other's efforts and the team's collective performance. In addition to the commitment award, Coach Desai encourages players to acknowledge each other's efforts by presenting medals to each other. The medals are provided by the players themselves, and this way, everyone in the team gets to appreciate each other's contribution to the team's success. The "Happy Dressing Room" concept is not just about celebrating the team's victories but also about learning from their mistakes and acknowledging the areas that need improvement. By creating a positive and happy atmosphere, Coach Desai believes that the team can build a strong foundation for future success.
