This Max’s Corner video showcases the time I met Rollie Fingers on October 24, 2015 at Waukesha Sportscards. Fingers is an MLB Hall Of Fame pitcher who is mostly known for playing with the Oakland A’s and Milwaukee Brewers but also played for the San Diego Padres. Fingers won the AL MVP and Cy Young while with the Brewers in 1981. He’s a seven-time All-Star and won three World Series titles with Oakland and was a World Series MVP. He’s a four-time Rolaids Relief award winner and was voted into the Hall Of Fame in 1992. I met Mr. Fingers the same day I met Paul Molitor and Hank Aaron. Thanks for watching!

After being selected as a first round draft pick by the New York Mets, Jarred was traded to the Seattle Mariners in a blockbuster trade. Jarred Kelenic is from Waukesha Wisconsin, and is the highest drafted baseball player to come from Wisconsin. Jarred Kelenic's motto is #beattheodds because while he had a single focus to make it as a professional baseball player, everyone told him that it would be unlikely for him to develop into that caliber of baseball player because he lived in a northern state, where winter prevents players from getting enough play time and repetition to be dominant.
