ποΈ The 2016 Mexican Grand Prix delivered one of the most dramatic and controversial battles of the Formula 1 season! Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel and Daniel Ricciardo found themselves at the centre of an intense fight for the podium at the AutΓ³dromo Hermanos RodrΓguez, with furious team radio messages, aggressive moves and controversial driving decisions. π‘ With just four laps remaining, Max Verstappen locked up into Turn 1 and cut across the grass to stay ahead of Sebastian Vettel. Despite being told by his race engineer, Gianpiero Lambiase, to give the position back, Verstappen stayed ahead. Vettel's frustration boiled over as Daniel Ricciardo rapidly closed in, setting the stage for an explosive three-way battle! π₯ Two laps before the finish, Ricciardo launched a divebomb on Vettel into Turn 4, but Vettel moved under braking, triggering contact between the two drivers. Furious radio messages followed, including Vettel's infamous outburst directed at race director Charlie Whiting: "F*** off, honestly, f*** off!" The tension was unbelievable as Verstappen crossed the line ahead of Vettel and Ricciardo. π The drama didn't end at the chequered flag! Verstappen received a five-second penalty for leaving the track and gaining an advantage, while Vettel was handed a ten-second penalty for moving under braking. These penalties reshuffled the final classification, promoting Daniel Ricciardo to P3, Max Verstappen to P4 and Sebastian Vettel to P5. βοΈ About This Channel: I post shorts about Formula 1, but the videos are filled with memes!
