Fraser-Pryce ran 10.67 four times this season, in Nairobi (7 May), Paris (18 June), Eugene (17 Jul) and Székesfehérvár (8 Aug). Her season-best and world-leading time of 10.66 came in Chorzów. Clayton, winning her second straight title at this level, stormed home in 10.95 seconds. Thompson-Herah could only manage seventh in 22.39 seconds. The event gold medal went to her teammate Shericka Jackson in a new championship and jamaica's record 21.45 seconds.
