At the May 2026 World Athletics Relays in Gaborone, Botswana, Jamaica's mixed 4x100m relay team set a new world record of 39.62 seconds, breaking their own record set just a day earlier. The team of Ackeem Blake, Tina Clayton, Kadrian Goldson, and Tia Clayton became the first to break the 40-second barrier, marking a major milestone in the event.
