Resumen del GP de la Ciudad de México - F1 2022
El Gran Premio de la Ciudad de México (CDMX) 2022 de Fórmula 1 ha sido, desafortunadamente, aburridísimo. El Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez mostró de nuevo una afición mexicana espectacular, que recibió con brazos abiertos a la F1 y a su querido Checo Pérez que ansiaba con una victoria en su tierra, México. Pero una vez más, la carrera no ha estado a la altura de los aficionados. Desde la salida hasta el podio, no hubo acción, ni variedad estratégica ni absolutamente nada. Muchos equipos pecaron de precavidos con la estrategia, algunos pilotos no se atrevieron con ciertas maniobras y los bostezos convirtieron la F1ESTA del GP México, en la siesta. Sergio Pérez con su Red Bull consiguió alcanzar el podio, pero fue una experiencia más agridulce que el podio del año pasado al tener más expectativas. Fernando Alonso tuvo que abandonar por un nuevo problema de motor cuando estaba siendo el mejor del resto, y Carlos Sainz lideró a una Ferrari totalmente desaparecida. Max Verstappen’s path to winning the 2022 Formula 1 World Championship with four races to spare could not have been more different to the journey to his first title. Last year, he prevailed on the very last lap in the most intense title fight in history. But as this season has gone on, his progress has become increasingly serene. Winning this year’s title has been easier for Verstappen than in 2021. How could it not be given last year’s fight between him and Lewis Hamilton was so acrimonious? GP Japón F1 2022 - Verstappen, bicampeón por un reglamento mal escrito | El vlog post-carrera
El Gran Premio de Japón 2022 de Fórmula 1 mostró, una vez más, la cara y la cruz de este deporte. Mientras los pilotos brillaban ante unas condiciones adversas en el circuito de Suzuka, la FIA volvía a cubrirse de gloria. Otro hat-trick de la federación: poniendo en riesgo la vida de los pilotos al lanzar de forma imprudente una grúa a la pista, causando dudas entre todos los equipos por el procedimiento de la última vuelta y, más tarde, coronando a Max Verstappen como campeón del mundo ante la incredulidad de todo el mundo incluyendo al propio neerlandés. Un bochorno. Verstappen merecía el Mundial, pero no de esta manera. Merecía una buena celebración. Merecía disfrutar ante el público de Honda. Y lo que vimos fue algo que evidenció una vez más las absurdeces que uno se puede encontrar en el reglamento deportivo. Fue legal, sí, pero surrealista. Por lo demás, Checo Pérez logró desestabilizar a un Charles Leclerc que falló en la última vuelta del Gran Premio y que terminó derivando en una sanción de 5 segundos que, sin él saberlo, le iba a dar el Mundial a Super Max. Por detrás, Sebastian Vettel y Fernando Alonso protagonizaban una batalla espectacular que hace que valga la pena todo este espectáculo con un paralelo que sólo pudimos disfrutar viendo onboards al final de la prueba.
