Resulta muy tentador volver a creer en los Azulejos del 2026 cuando nos ofrecen destellos del 2025 Los Azulejos se apoyaron en una ola de elevaditos de hit, batazos de poder y errores de los Angelinos para una quinta entrada de siete carreras, el tipo de explosión ofensiva que este roster necesitaba desesperadamente. La victoria de este sábado 14-1 en el Rogers Centre se sintió como un largo y agradable respiro después de otra semana de problemas ofensivos. Esto fue lo más importante de la victoria. Con Valenzuela, los Azulejos podrían haber encontrado a su receptor suplente a largo plazo para emparejarse con Kirk, una posición increíblemente valiosa que escasea en la liga. Incluso cuando está 100% sano, los Azulejos prefieren mantener a Kirk en alrededor de 110 juegos en el plato cada temporada. Si Valenzuela puede ganar este trabajo para cuando Kirk regrese, seguirá teniendo un rol regular, y uno importante.
