The Monuments return with the 114th edition of Milano-Sanremo, the longest race on the pro calendar. This year, La Classicissima starts just outside of Milan in Abbiategrasso, following a 293.5km route over the Passo Turchino to the Italian Riviera. The Tre Capi mark the business end of the race - a warm up to iconic duo of the Cipressa and the Poggio - where the the fireworks begin in an all-action final 25km of racing! The real mountains finally arrive on this queen stage of this year’s Paris-Nice. The Côte de Tourette-du-Château (17.8km at 4.6%) comes first, before the peloton tackles the brutal Col de la Couillole (16.2km at 7.1%). Relentless Attacking As Big Stars Struggle! | Tirreno-Adriatico 2023 Highlights - Stage 4
Stage 4 is the longest of the race at 218.7km. This is the first real test for the GC riders, with four ascents of the short but punchy climb to Tortoreto (3km at 7%) in the last 55km. Expect a cagey race up until the final climb before the climbers, puncheurs and GC riders all come to the fore to battle it out for the stage win and perhaps the race leader's jersey too! New TTT Format Makes For Thrilling Racing! | Paris-Nice 2023 Highlights - Stage 3
Stage 3 of this year's Race to the Sun is a team time trial with a twist. At 32.1km in length, this is the first TTT to feature at Paris-Nice in over 30 years, and unlike as is usually the case, times are taken on the team's first rider across the line. Nervy Day Of Racing As Crosswinds Loom! | Paris-Nice 2023 Highlights - Stage 2
Stage 2 is another opportunity for the sprinters. With its meagre 1,000m of climbing and arrow-straight run into the finish in Fontainebleau, this 163.5km stage is much easier than yesterday's and should end with a big bunch sprint. The men's WorldTour heads to Italy for the final Monument of the season: Il Lombardia. The 116th edition of 'the Race of the Falling Leaves' starts in Bergamo and ends in Como after 253km of racing. GC Showdown On Final Climb | Vuelta A España 2022 Stage 18 Highlights
Stage 18 sees the race heads towards its seventh and final summit finish atop the Alto de Piornal. The mountain itself will be ascended twice, with the riders first tackling its eastern face (13.5km at 5%) before then taking on its western face (13.3km at 5.5%). The two climbs are virtually identical but will either be hard enough to create big gaps between the GC men?
