North End had a man sent off towards the end of the 1st half in an inncident which awarded a penalty to Rovers. Adam Armstrong converted yje resuklting penalty kick. PNE had to play the second half with 10 men and Rovers made their advantage count adding two more goals, one from Ben Brereton and the other from Preston North End cast off Tyrhys Dolan. Rovers will head to Ewood Park with 3 points, local bragging rights and Scott Sinclair in their pockets.
