The Michelin Le Mans Cup will take place over six rounds, with drivers and teams competing to decide who will become champion. Five of the events will be 2-hour races on the same weekends as the European Le Mans Series, with the special event "Road To Le Mans" acting as the curtain raiser before the 24 Hours of Le Mans in June. We Used Computers To Really See How Good Rope Spokes Are!
It's been a couple of months since Adam and I built the rope spoked wheel and even if I haven't ridden it every day I certainly haven't been going easy on it and I wanted to do a follow-up video to show how it's holding up. At the same time, we had Steff join us after he got in touch telling us about his software that can give us a better idea of the characteristics of a wheel with regular steel and rope spokes...is there a difference in wheel strength? This video finds out! It's quite a talky video but there's a lot of great info packed in. Because the original rope spoke video did so well I'm hoping this level of detail will be appreciated. I think this tech could be great for riders/teams/manufacturers looking to really dial in the feel of their wheels! I UPGRADED MY JUMP BIKE AND RODE A NEW FREERIDE LINE!!
My dirt jump hardtail is one of my favourite bikes however it was starting to feel a little sketchy... The session started at Canvey Island for a mega skatepark session with my brother & Sam Pilgrim where we sent huge tricks like backflips, wall rides and tail whips... I then decided it was time to upgrade my hardtail dirt jump bike with a fresh load of components from my sponsors Halo wheels, Gusset components and RaceFace. It was then time to head to Pheonix cycle works... a new and ever improving bike park full of dirt jump lines and trails suitable for all abilities.
