Mega League Baseball 2024 - Los Angeles Browns @ Kansas City Royals

Pitching Matchup: Walker Buehler (12-10, 2.79 ERA) vs Seth Lugo (9-10, 3.18 ERA) What is Mega League Baseball (besides the obvious)? The origin of this concept alt-universe baseball league comes from an article written by Mike Petriello on MLB.com in late 2020 https://www.mlb.com/news/featured/the... While Pearl Harbor and WWI scuttled the move of the St. Louis Browns to LA, what would have happened if the move did happen just after WWII? Using Petriello's article as a starting point, here's an alternate timeline for MLB expansion and team moves: MLB Alternative Timeline 1947 - St. Louis Browns move to Los Angeles 1949 - Philadelphia Athletics move to San Francisco 1953 - Boston Braves move to Milwaukee 1956 - New York Giants move to Minnesota 1958 - Brooklyn Dodgers move to Dallas 1961 - Baltimore Orioles and Houston Colt 45’s join AL. 1962 - New York Mets and Los Angeles Angels join NL 1966 - Washington Senators move to Atlanta 1968 - Kansas City Royals and Seattle Pilots join AL 1969 - San Diego Padres and Montreal Expos join NL 1971 - Seattle Pilots move to Washington (Nationals) 1974 - San Diego moves to Oakland (Padres) 1976 - Milwaukee Braves rebrand as Milwaukee Brewers 1977 - Toronto Blue Jays and Seattle Mariners join AL. 1979 - Cleveland Indians rebrand back to the Cleveland Spiders 1993 - Florida Marlins and Colorado Rockies join NL 1998 - Arizona Diamondbacks join NL and Tampa Bay Devil Rays join AL 2004 - Oakland returns to San Diego (Padres). I did have to make some tweaks to transfer player ratings info from The Show to Super Mega Baseball 4. Finally, I did my best to try to get the players in Mega League Baseball to look somewhat like their real-life counterparts, but didn't go crazy because I wanted to get this league off the ground (finally).
