The Buffalo Sabres were a team many thought would be dead to rights by January, and they ended up somehow rallying all the way back to WIN the Atlantic Division! Their opponent in this series, the Boston Bruins, were kind of expected to be here, but they just are riding off of experience, not talent. Who will go on to win this big series and face the winner of the BLOODBATH that is the Montreal Canadiens vs the Tampa Bay Lightning? Only time will tell, but I can assure you, both of these teams want to hoist the Stanley Cup come June, and the road to that dram starts here! Welcome back to the NHL Playoffs, and tonight we got a BIG GAME! The Buffalo Sabres hosting the Boston Bruins for game 5 of their first round series! So far this series, the Sabres have won games 1, 3, and 4, winning BOTH games in Boston. Meanwhile the Bruins have only won game 2, but it was on the road at Key Bank Center in Buffalo, NY. This is where legends are made, and in this CRITICAL game 5, the stakes for Boston are simple, win to stay alive, or lose and go home. As for Buffalo, they can afford to lose a game, but they do not want to lose momentum on the series. We’ve seen it before, a team is down bad in a series, they get one win, and it snowballs into a massive series comeback, so the Sabres would like to end it tonight. In this stream, we will provide live play by play and reactions to the game. Alongside this we will talk just about anything from sports to TV shows, whatever you want. BIK Karlskoga spelar i Hockeyallsvenskan. År 1943 beslöt IFK Bofors, som också hade fotboll samt några andra sporter på programmet, att börja med ishockey. Under 1950-talet tog IFK Bofors sig till Sveriges dåvarande högsta division, Division 1. IFK Bofors slogs 1963 samman med Karlskoga IF och fick formellt namnet IF Karlskoga/Bofors, i folkmun oftast KB 63 eller KB Karlskoga. Namnet Bofors IK antog föreningen 1978. 13 mars 1944 spelades den första ishockeymatchen i BIK Karlskoga historia på bortaplan mot Degerfors BK. BIK Karlskoga förlorade med 4–1. Söndagen därpå spelades första hemmamatchen i BIK Karlskoga historia, åter mot Degerfors BK och denna match vann BIK Karlskoga med 6–2. År 2001 inledde BIK Karlskoga ett arbete med att stärka BIK Karlskoga profil. Med inspiration från National Hockey League bestämde BIK Karlskoga för att anta en klubbsymbol i form av ett djur. En lokatt valdes för att symbolisera BIK Karlskoga och BIK Karlskoga kallade BIK Karlskoga därefter för Bofors Bobcats. Det pilformade klubbmärket som använts sedan 1978 byttes ut, men Bofors IK bevarades som officiellt namn på klubben. 6 december 2011 beslutade Karlskoga kommunstyrelse att köpa BIK Karlskoga namn under en femårsperiod. Bakgrunden till beslutet var att förtydliga BIK Karlskoga hemort samt att flera av BIK Karlskoga sponsorer inte längre ville bli förknippade med Bofors-namnet, ett Bofors-namn som kom från tiden då Bofors AB var BIK Karlskoga huvudsponsor. Avtalet med Karlskoga kommunen som löpte från 2011 och fem år framåt, innebar bland annat att Karlskoga blev en dominerande del i det nya namnet samt att BIK Karlskoga får bidrag från Karlskoga kommunen med 700 000 kronor per år. Dessutom skulle en bonus på 200 000 kronor utgå om BIK Karlskoga vid kvalificerade sig i kvalserien till Elitserien. Då namnet byttes mitt under säsongen, ingick även i avtalet ett omställningsbidrag på 200 000 kronor för att ta fram nya dräkter och logotyp. 19 december 2011 beslutade BIK Karlskoga vid ett extra årsmöte att byta namn från Bofors IK till BIK Karlskoga. BIK Karlskoga skulle först godkännas av Riksidrottsförbundet och kom officiellt att börjas användas från och med den 27 januari 2012. Nobelhallen invigdes år 1972 vilket också var året då BIK Karlskoga flyttade dit BIK Karlskoga verksamhet. Den allra första matchen som spelades i Nobelhallen var en träningsmatch mellan BIK Karlskoga och Djurgårdens IF. I matchen mellan BIK Karlskoga och Djurgårdens IF gjordes det första målet i Nobelhallen historia av BIK Karlskoga-spelaren Stefan Canderyd. Nobelhallen rymmer 5 600 åskådare. Under 2024 fastställdes en plan för en renovering av Nobelhallen med en kostnad av 130 miljoner kronor där standarden skulle bibehållas på allsvensk nivå. Det nybildade BIK Karlskoga blev snart ett topplag i Division II och tog BIK Karlskoga flera gånger upp i högsta serien. Efter flera säsonger i högsta serien och i toppen av andraserien börjar BIK Karlskoga dala i tabellerna. BIK Karlskoga vinner inte längre Division I och 1992 flyttas BIK Karlskoga t.o.m. ner till Division II. Efter några år i Division II kom BIK Karlskoga tillbaka till Division I igen 1997. Vid serieomläggningen 1999 tog BIK Karlskoga plats i den nya Allsvenskan och när IK Oskarshamn 2019 tog plats i Svenska hockeyligan blev BIK Karlskoga det enda laget som spelat alla säsongerna i Hockeyallsvenskan. Ishockey, ibland bara kallad hockey, är en lagsport som spelas på is. I många länder är det i huvudsak eller uteslutande fråga om inomhusspel på isrink – medan det i Indien, Kirgizistan, Mongoliet, Nordkorea och Nordmakedonien övervägande används utomhusbanor. I Pakistan, som inte är medlem av IIHF, spelades i december 2018 den första matchen, vilket skedde utomhus. Under användning av skridskor och klubba av trä, lätt kompositmaterial, glasfiber eller aluminium skall en puck (vulkaniserad gummitrissa) placeras i motståndarnas målbur. Ishockey kallas ofta bara hockey, vilket dock ibland kan förväxlas med den andra hockeysporten som i Sverige är benämnd landhockey. Ishockey tillhör också kategorin bollsport och likt många andra lagsporter går spelet ut på att göra flest mål. I regel spelas varje professionell ishockeymatch i 60 effektiva spelminuter, uppdelat i tre perioder. Den moderna ishockeyn anses uppkommit i slutet på 1800-talet har sedermera fått en roll i norra centrala Eurasien.
