Hooliganism once again reared its ugly head in a match involving AFC Leopards and Ulinzi Stars at the Kenyatta Stadium on Sunday during and after the match as angry Ingwe fans expressed their frustrations on the team's loss to the soldiers.
AFC Leopards have appointed former Rwanda national team coach, Andre Casa Mbungo, as their new coach on a one-and-a-half-year deal. Mbungo will be the third coach for Ingwe this season. He takes over from 25-year-old Serbian Marko Vasil-jevich who was fired on Monday.
AFC Leopards and Wazito played out a one-all draw in a pre-season friendly match at Camp Toyoyo grounds. Stephen Owusu, who was acquired from Nairobi Stima last month, opened the scoring for Wazito at the stroke of halftime, before substitute Marvin Nabwire leveled for Ingwe in the final 10 minutes.

The Kenya premier league will experience a double mid week clash on Wednesday as Gor Mahia take on Western Stima and Sofapaka battle it out with AFC Leopards. Ingwe has a match at hand against Sony and if they win the two matches will return at the helm of the table standings. Currently Sofapaka are leading on 29 ponts followed by Tusker and AFC Leopards.
Karuturi grounds in Naivasha seem to be a better hunting ground for AFC leopards after all. Ingwe received a two match ban and has been playing the past two matches in closed doors. However in the past two matches they have managed to get four points away. Leopards played to a 2-2 draw against hosts red berets while KCB made sure of all the three points at the Nyayo National Stadium against Posta Rangers in the relegation battle.
