Maçın ardından basın toplantısında açıklamalarda bulunan Galatasaray Teknik Direktörü Fatih Terim, "Maalesef bugün özellikle ilk yarıda çok da iyi olduğumuzu söyleyemeyiz. Şöyle ki; topun hakimiyetinin bizde olması bizim için çok önemli. Topla pas oyununu iyi oynayan bir takımız. Bugün maalesef bunu yapamadık. Başarılı oyun kurma, üçüncü bölgede en iyi şekilde çalışma ve üçüncü bölgede doğru pozisyon almayı özellikle ilk 45 dakikada maalesef yapamadık. Rakibimizin de o ara birkaç tane atağı oldu. Hücum devamlılığını isteyen bir takımız. İkinci yarının çok kısa bir süresinde yapabildik. Bu yaparken bireysel bir hatadan gol yedik. Kontra presi de yapamadık. O yüzden Ceferi’nin örneği bu yüzden hiç tesadüfi değildir. Bu noktada Atalanta, Dinamo Zagreb, Celtic, Rangers ve Galatasaray gibi takımların kendileri için ne kadar önem taşıdığını hatırlatması önemlidir. Hatırlatması kadar bizim de ders çıkartmamız gerekiyor bundan. Her ne kadar zaman zaman yaptığımız bu başarılar o gün için Avrupa şampiyonu olmak unutturulmaya çalışılsa da Galatasaray da hala Türkiye’nin en büyük markası. Hala Avrupa’daki diğer kulüplere örnek gösterilen bir kulüp. Hala milyonlarca gencin hayal etmesini sağlayan ve onların umudu olan bir kulüp. Bizim bu büyüklüğü hatırlayıp, bu büyüklüğe göre hareket etmemiz ve kulübümüzün sahip olduğu kaynakları bu amaç doğrultuda kullanmamız gerekiyor. UEFA ve FIFA’nın bu konuda yalnız olmadığını ifade ediyorum. Bir futbol adamı olarak yanlarındayım" diye cevap verdi.

Sheikh Ahmad was born around 1920 in Doha and became Emir on October 24, 1960 upon the abdication of his father. The Amir Cup final, which was held on Qatar National Day, was attended by Qatar Amir HH Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. FIFA president Gianni Infantino, UEFA president Aleksander Čeferin, and AFC president Shaikh Salman Bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa were present at the venue which will host seven FIFA World Cup matches from the group stages until the quarterfinals. The venue, home to Al Rayyan Club, before its demolition in 2015 is within walking distance of Al Riffa Station on Doha Metro’s Green Line. 60-year-old Mohammed Mirza, who came to Doha from Iran in 1971, poses infront Al Rayyan Venue on Friday. Six football training pitches, a cricket pitch, horse riding track, cycling track, gym equipment and an athletics track are the other sporting facilities at the new stadium. Previously, on two occasions Qatar inaugurated the World Cup venues by hosting the Amir Cup final at Khalifa International in 2017 and Al Janoub in 2019. The Amir Cup is one of the prestigious competition in Qatar, and is usually held in May but this year had to moved to a new date on account of the pandemic. Doha, Qatar: Qatar on Friday inaugurated its fourth FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 tournament venue in Al Rayyan area and will be retain its old name of Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium. The stadium was named after the fifth ruler of Qatar Sheikh Ahmad Bin Ali Al Thani, and the first Qatari ruler to bear the title Amir. Sheikh Ahmad Bin Ali Al Thani was born around 1920 in Doha. He became the Ruler of Qatar on October 24, 1960 upon the abdication of his father. The stadium, situated in one of Qatar's most historic cities, was open during the Amir Cup final which was attended by the Amir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani on Qatar National Day and exactly two years before the country hosts the FIFA World Cup final. The Amir Cup final between the two Qatar Stars League clubs Al Sadd and Al Arabi was attended by 20,000 spectators with 50% of the available seats allocated to people who have previously contracted the Corona virus in which Al Sadd emerged victorious 2-1. Thumama Stadium, with its iconic 'gahfiya' design and a capacity of 40,000 seats, Lusail Stadium, the biggest of all the FIFA World Cup venues with 80,000 capacity and host of the FIFA World Cup final match; and Ras Abu Aboud; the first fully demountable FIFA World Cup venue history with a capacity of 40,000 seats.
