With the Holy Blues missing nine players from the squad, Tom Shaw's men dug deep and showed all kinds of resistance and resilience to play some great football & pose an experienced Stalybridge side all kinds of problems. A pretty good home debut for both Hull City loan keeper, Harvey Cartwright. And Work Experience loan man Billy Brooks on as a first half substitute.
Goals from Toby Gould & debutant Brad Grayson were enough to see the Holy Blues pick up the second win of the season, and climb the fledgling table to 16th, with seven points from a possible 21 available to date.
