The hosts will face-off against a team that come into this match on the back of a 33-run win in a knockout encounter. Mohammad Nabi starred yesterday night with both bat and ball against Saint Lucia. The Guyana-based franchise were standing at second place in the points table but faced a heavy defeat at the hands of Barbados Royals in the first qualifier. Since they finished second the Shimron Hetmyer-led side have another opportunity despite the loss in the qualifier. On the other hand the Tallawahs had a good win against St Lucia Kings in the Eliminator. On a tricky wicket the Jamaica-based franchise posted a decent enough total thanks to Shamarh Brooks and Mohammad Nabi. The Afghan all-rounder waved his magic with his off-breaks as well breaking the back of the chase. Not only Nabi but the other spinners of the team also turned the ball square to decimate the Kings for 115 winning the match by 33 runs and surviving the tournament another day. The boys of the Amazon Warriors have played continuously for the past five days without changing the playing XI. The workload factor might occur but nowadays the players are too good to miss out. Guyana Amazon Warriors hope that the decimation against Barbados Royals was a wake-up call after winning four consecutive league matches to enter into the playoffs. Jamaica Tallawahs weren't consistent with their gameplay throughout the league stages. But the Rovman Powell-led camp came into the party at the right time. Although the batting wasn't the real strength the spin trio of Fabian Allen Mohammad Nabi and Imad Wasim were so precise that they were unplayable. Both teams won a game each when they met twice in the league phase. The Tallawahs had the upper hand in the first meet while the Amazon Warriors took revenge during the second matchup. Barbados Royals are waiting for their opponent they face in the summit clash! One spot left for the finals. Who will seize that? A battle between two big Caribbean Islands Guyana and Jamaica rarely disappoints. Barbados Royals vs Guyana Amazon Warriors? Or Barbados Royals vs Jamaica Tallawahs? Only time will tell. Pitch Report | Simon Doull and Daren Ganga: We are on a fresh pitch. We are almost in the middle (dimension-wise). Average first innings score in Guyana this season is 166. This pitch should be good for batting. It looks very good live grass has been trimmed. Expect something for the seamers. There won't be much spin. Batting will just dominate over ball. Dew factor is something you need to assess won't be that significant.
