Fighting For Yellow In Megève! | Tour De France 2022 Stage 10 Highlights
The race picks up from where it left off in week one, tackling more of the smaller Alpine climbs. Stage 10 features a lot less climbing than stage 9, just 2,433m, but this is no day for the sprinters. Instead, the 21km-long drag up to the finish at the Megève airport - which averages 4.1% - makes this a day for the climbers. The first summit finish of this year's race sees La Planche des Belles Filles returs to the Tour de France for the sixth time in ten years. Like in 2019, the peloton take on the extended ‘Super’ Planche (8.7% for 7km) which features a short gravel section to the summit with gradients of up to 24%!
