This city on the Köln-Bonn bay of the Rhine River has had a Titus shop for more than 20 years and also happens to have a deep and flourishing skate scene! Home to spots like the Wesselwerken over the “Bonner Loch”, the Rheinaue, the Heusallee, skaterpark 2000, and the US Embassy Club, Bonn has just received a proper addition to the scene with “Skatepark Bonn”. The park’s grand opening was in August 2018 and we’ve finally got a crew of Titus team riders to stop by for a closer look! The hard work to get this new concrete in Bonn has paid off! Vor 30 Jahren noch die unbestrittene Hauptstadt Deutschlands, heutzutage Bundesstadt und immer noch mit einem internationalen Flair versehen: willkommen in Bonn. Die Stadt am Fuße der Köln-Bonner Bucht beherbergt nicht nur seit 20 Jahren einen Titus Shop, sondern auch eine florierende Skateszene und -geschichte. Von Spots wie den Wesselwerken über das „Bonner Loch“, die Rheinaue, die Heusallee, den Skaterpark 2000 und den „US Embassy Club“ ist die Szene nach langen Jahren des Wartens nun endlich mit einem zeitgemäßen Skatepark ausgestattet. Der Skatepark Bonn wurde im August 2018 feierlich eröffnet, was für uns Anlass war, schleunigst vorbeizuschauen und das Areal mit ein paar Titus Teamridern genauer unter die Lupe zu nehmen. Beton für Bonn – es hat sich gelohnt!

As you know I already had my Carnet de passages and I was about to apply for Iranian Visa when I heard about the new rule. The rule that not allow motorcycles over 250cc to enter into Iran. I went to the embassy to make my visa and asked them about it. The answer was: We don’t know ask in ADAC. ADAC is the official German automobile club. The guy in the embassy said: Do you need the visa and I said that I need to find out what is the situation otherwise it will be useless. South Korea strongly protests Japan's Dokdo exhibit hall
정부, '일본 독도전시관' "강력항의...즉각폐쇄 엄중요구" Japan is once again provoking Korea with its claims to Korea's easternmost islets of Dokdo,... this time by establishing an exhibition hall on the subject in Tokyo. The South Korean government is strongly protesting the move,... reminding Japan that the two countries' relations need to be based on facts. Lee Seung-jae has more. South Korea-Japan relations continue to sour as Seoul's foreign ministry has strongly protested Japan's establishment of an exhibition hall in central Tokyo that was set up to promote Japan's claims to Korea's easternmost islets of Dokdo. The ministry issued the protest on Thursday,... once again reminding Japan that Dokdo is Korean territory, and that the exhibition hall must immediately be closed. "Our government strongly protests the Japanese government's opening of the territorial sovereignty exhibit hall in Tokyo to make unjustifiable claims to Dokdo, which is Korea's inherent territory. We demand it be closed immediately." In addition, the foreign ministry called in Katsuro Kitagawa, the minister for political affairs at the Japanese embassy to South Korea,... with the Seoul government also lodging their protest with Japan's foreign ministry. Earlier this week, Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono stated in a parliamentary speech,... that Dokdo is part of Japan's territory and that he will continue to make efforts to strengthen the case for Japanese ownership in the future. The latest controversy comes a day after Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe expressed his willingness to attend the opening ceremony of the PyeongChang Winter Olympics in South Korea, raising optimism over the recent soured relations between the two nations. Dokdo, called Takeshima in Japan, has long been a source of tension between the neighbors,... as questions remain whether THIS latest dispute will further impact the foreign relations of the two nations.
