In the 2nd ODI, Sri Lanka and West Indies faced each other at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium. Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bowl first inviting the visitors to bat. Sherfane Rutherford scored 80 runs in 82 balls and Gudakesh Motie played a knock of 50 runs, while the wickets collapsed in regular intervals for West Indies and the whole team was all out for 189 runs. Hasaranga was at the peak of the bowlers from Sri Lankan side taking 4 wickets for 40 runs. Sri Lanka came into bat and won the match comfortably by 5 wickets.
