San Antonio Spurs vs Timberwolves Game 4 Post Game Show | In The Building | Mike Taylor & Rudy Jay

IN THE BUILDING | Spurs vs. Timberwolves Game 4 POST-GAME REACTION | 2026 NBA Playoffs Western Conference Semifinals Mike Taylor and Rudy Jay are back LIVE with your full post-game breakdown from Game 4 of the Western Conference Semifinals. The Spurs came into tonight leading this series 2-1 with a chance to put Minnesota's back against the wall on their home floor — and the entire basketball world is watching. We have got the full reaction, the biggest plays, and everything you need to know heading into Game 5. --- WHERE THIS SERIES STANDS The Spurs have won two straight and all the momentum is on San Antonio's side. Victor Wembanyama delivered an absolute masterpiece in Game 3 — 39 points, 15 rebounds, and five blocks — as the Spurs took a 115-108 victory in Minneapolis to seize the series lead. He went 13-of-18 from the floor and 10-of-12 from the line while his presence in the paint was suffocating all night. Only Hakeem Olajuwon, Shaquille O'Neal, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar had put up those numbers in a postseason game before Friday night — and Wembanyama got there faster than any of them, in just his seventh playoff game. We are watching something generational happen in real time. Stephon Castle quietly put together one of the most efficient games of his young playoff career in Game 3, finishing with 13 points, 12 assists, and a team-high plus-17 rating, while De'Aaron Fox added 17 points. On the other side, Jaden McDaniels and Julius Randle combined to shoot just 8-of-34 from the floor, unable to get anything going against Wembanyama's rim protection. Minnesota comes into tonight desperate. Anthony Edwards gave them everything he had in the loss — 32 points and 14 rebounds — and it still was not enough. Edwards hit a buzzer-beating 31-footer to end the first quarter, and the Wolves clawed back from missing their first 12 shots of the game to tie it at halftime, but San Antonio pulled away in the third quarter by going 6-of-10 from three. --- THE INJURY FACTOR Minnesota is playing shorthanded and they have been all series. Anthony Edwards has been battling a knee injury that sidelined him late in the Denver series, and his status has been a question mark heading into every game. The Wolves need him healthy and they need more from the players around him. Naz Reid has been their best secondary option, but it has not been nearly enough against this Spurs defense. --- ONE WIN FROM THE CONFERENCE FINALS This Spurs team has answered every challenge thrown at them. They dropped Game 1 at home and responded with a 38-point blowout. They went into Minneapolis for Games 3 and 4 and took control of the series. Since losing back-to-back games in January, the Spurs went 40-9 — the equivalent of a 69-win season — and that same resiliency has defined every moment of this postseason run. The Western Conference Finals are within reach. One more win and this young Spurs team makes history. --- SUBSCRIBE AND HIT THE BELL — We are going LIVE after EVERY San Antonio Spurs playoff game this postseason. Don't miss a single take, breakdown, or debate. Mike Taylor and Rudy Jay will be here every step of the way on the road to a championship. What was that 😭 #otwinner #nhlplayoffs
What was that 😭 #otwinner #nhlplayoffs

It’s been almost half a decade since the Flyers made their way to the second round of the NHL playoffs—an eternity in the world of sports. The year was 2018, and the Flyers were coming off a rollercoaster regular season, finishing 8th in the East. The journey to Round 2 started with a gritty, hard-fought series against the Pittsburgh Penguins. Despite being outmatched on paper, the Flyers dug deep and found a way to claw their way to a Game 6 win, sending the series to a must-win final game. That series was nothing short of chaotic—goals flying in from all angles, defensive breakdowns, and of course, the kind of intensity that only a Flyers-Pens matchup can bring. But after pulling off that win in Game 6, Philly’s momentum came crashing down in Round 2. The Flyers faced off against the mighty Washington Capitals, led by Alex Ovechkin in what would be a dominating performance from the Caps. Despite the valiant efforts of players like Claude Giroux, Sean Couturier, and Jake Voracek, the Flyers were overmatched, and the Capitals closed out the series 4-2, advancing to their eventual Stanley Cup championship run. For Flyers fans, it was a bittersweet reminder of how close they were to breaking through, but also how far they still had to go. The second round feels like a distant dream now, as the Flyers have struggled to regain that level of playoff success. With each passing season, the question remains—when will Philly be back in Round 2? And more importantly, when will they finally get back to competing for a Cup? The 2018 playoffs were a wild ride for Philly, but that ride ended too soon. Now, as the years pass by, the memory of that postseason run has started to fade, but Flyers fans still hold out hope. One day, Philly will rise again and make its mark in the playoffs. Until then, the wait continues. #fyp #hockey

Full Game: Friday Night Friction at the Stadium | Bulls vs. Pacers (December 16, 1988)

Outside Chicago Stadium, the snow was drifting lightly and the wind was whipping off the lake, turning the city into the kind of holiday postcard the Chamber of Commerce loves. Inside, however, the Chicago Bulls were busy nearly handing a gift-wrapped victory to a struggling Indiana Pacers squad. What should have been a blowout turned into a "rough sleigh ride" for the 17,488 in attendance, highlighting the fragile nature of a Bulls team still trying to find its identity after the off-season trade that sent Charles Oakley to New York for Bill Cartwright. The Bulls held a commanding 19-point lead that evaporated as the Pacers' Wayman Tisdale began to exploit a soft interior defense. Indiana clawed back to within a single point with just 93 seconds remaining, exposing the recurring narrative of the 1988-89 season: if Michael Jordan doesn't do everything, the Bulls do very little. Jordan, playing the role of a hardwood Scrooge, finally slammed the door. He drew contact, converted the necessary free throws, and delivered a signature defensive rejection on a Chuck Person attempt to preserve the win. The night’s subtext, however, belonged to Bill Cartwright. While Jordan finished with 28 points and 10 rebounds, Cartwright recorded a dubious "triple-double"—23 points, 10 rebounds, and a staggering 10 turnovers. The big man’s lack of coordination was a source of constant irritation for Jordan, who often complained that Cartwright "fumbled" away the team's momentum. Yet, in a rare display of leadership that pierced the post-game tension, Cartwright gathered his teammates for a speech. Even delivered in his trademark raspy whisper, the message was clear: the sloppy play and near-collapses had to stop. This game serves as a window into the growing pains of a dynasty. With the arrival of Craig Hodges providing much-needed perimeter spacing, the pieces were beginning to move into place, but the friction between Jordan and his supporting cast remained the primary obstacle. It was a victory, but one that left the Bulls at a modest 11-10, still searching for the consistency required to challenge the elite of the Eastern Conference.
