Right-hander Yoshinobu Yamamoto will start for the Dodgers on Tuesday, making his eighth start of the season for LA. He has been solid for the Dodgers this season, posting a 3.09 ERA through 43.2 innings pitched so far. He has 40 strikeouts under his belt, and has gone at least five innings in each of his starts so far this season. Designated hitter Shohei Ohtani leads the line for the Dodgers, and will look to break out of the slump which has plagued him for nearly two weeks now. The superstar has four hits in 36 at-bats in May, and has struggled to produce any offense for LA since the beginning of the month. He has just one homer since April 13. Shortstop Mookie Betts will bat second behind Ohtani, exactly where he batted upon his return from the injured list Monday.
