Battle For The Podium | Tour de La Provence - Stage 3
For the first time in its seven-year history, the Tour de la Provence’s organisers have placed the traditional summit finish stage on the final day of racing. With 3,289m of climbing to conquer and a finish line that lies atop Montagne de Lure - a 16km-long climb that averages 6% - this stage guarantees fireworks. Crosswinds, Crashes & Chaos | Tour De La Provence - Stage 1
Day two offers up the only opportunity for the sprinters at this year’s race, so you can bet that they, and their teams, will be doing everything in their powers to keep the breakaway on a tight leash. The finish line will be passed twice before the end of the stage, giving the fast riders a chance to do a detailed recon and choose their sprinting lines for later on.
