RCB की सुतली खोलने के बाद Andre Russell ने बताया की मैदान पर आखिर हुआ क्या था

Andre Russell, the six-hitting machine, has set Indian Premier League (IPL) 2019 on fire. The Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) all-rounder has left the cricket world in awe with his power-hitting skills. Russell, who had revealed a few days earlier that he does 300 push-ups whenever he is bored in the dressing room, was at it again as he smashed seven sixes to make light work of KKR's chase of 206 against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Friday. Kolkata Knight Riders had needed 67 runs from 26 balls when Andre Russell walked into the crease. The visitors were losing a bit of momentum as captain Dinesh Karthik was struggling to get the big ones after Nitish Rana departed for a quickfire 37. However, Russell tore into the Royal Challengers Bangalore bowling attack, smashing three sixes in the 18th over and four more in the 19th over. Tim Southee conceded 29 runs in the penultimate over and KKR gunned down the total with five balls to spare after one of the most brutal onslaughts T20 cricket has ever witnessed. Talking up his power-hitting abilities, Russell said he no longer believes any cricket ground across the globe is big enough for him. The KKR all-rounder revealed he had thought Australian grounds were too big but that he had surprised himself when he hit a few Down Under. "A few grounds in Australia and then I surprised myself there by hitting a few into the stands. No ground is big enough for me I guess, I just trust my strength and trust my power. I have good bat speed. I trust that as well," Russell said after his 13-ball 48 in KKR's five-wicket win. Russell added: "Hand-eye coordination is the key (for low full tosses) as they aren't easy to hit. I try short arm jabs as extending the arms can put you in trouble. Can't explain much, rather show that on the field." Royal Challengers Bangalare had posted 205 for 3 on the board after Virat Kohli's 87 and AB de Villiers' 63 earlier in the evening. However, KKR got off to a good start with Chris Lynn (43), Robin Uthappa and Rana (47) making handy contributions. Russell then came out and took care of the asking rate with seven huge blows in Bengaluru. Russell has now taken his sixes tally in IPL 2019 to 22. He has just faced 77 balls and is striking a six every 3.5 deliveries. Didn't stop believing even as asking rate was high: Russell Stressing he never believed the chase was out of KKR's hands, Russell added: "I was confident when I went out to bat. DK was telling me to take a few balls to see what the wicket was doing. I was watching on TV from upstairs and kind of knew what the wicket was doing. I was thinking about playing this way or that way. It was just one mindset. "When you need 68 off 20-odd balls, it's not going to happen every day. We needed to make sure we put our bodies on the line. And I didn't quit." "The nature of T20 is such that one over can change the momentum. That's why I say I never give up. A part of me was saying that the runs needed were too much but anything is possible and eventually, we won with five balls spare." With the thrilling win, Kolkata Knight Riders climbed to the second spot with three wins from four matches. On the other hand, Virat Kohli's Royal Challengers Bangalore slumped to their fifth straight defeat and are yet to open their account in IPL 2019. Khabar Chauraha

Virat Kohli's Interview after Match: "The last four overs, the way we bowled, we deserve to lose. If you bowl with not enough bravery in the crunch overs, then you will always struggle against power-hitters like Russell. We cracked a bit under pressure, and that's the only story. Had we got 20-25 more, maybe it would have helped. But if you can't defend 75 in the last four overs, then I don't know if you can defend 100. We just didn't have enough composure. We have a bit of a chat about what went wrong, but apart from that, there's nothing much you can say. It's been a disappointing season, but we have to believe we can turn things around." Andre Russel player of the match: "I am always confident. When I went out, DK was saying we need to watch a few balls. I was watching on the telly, and I wasn't thinking too much. We needed to get 68 from 28 balls, and that doesn't happen everyday. We just had to put our bodies on the line. That's the nature of T20 cricket. One over changes and the momentum changes. That's why I never give up. Once I am there, I know anything's possible. On low full tosses he said, " It's just hand-eye coordination. Low full tosses aren't easy to hit, and I just do short-hand jabs, because you cannot extend your arms. I cannot explain it, I can only show it in the middle" If you Love Cricket then Subscribe to our Channel "Cricket News Daily" for Cricket Videos, Top Cricket Records, Latest Cricket News, Cricket Records by Indian Players, Cricket Facts, Team Squad, Biography of Cricket Players, ICC Cricket World Cup, Asia Cup, IPL T20 and many more cricket updates on this channel. The stage is set to rekindle an epic rivalry between skippers MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli. Till date, both the sides have faced each other on 22 occasions, with CSK winning 14 times and RCB winning just half. Of the seven matches played in Chennai, CSK have lost just one, while as for matches played in Bengaluru, CSK have won four out of eight and lost three. Out of the seven matches in neutral venues, CSK lead with four wins. Although CSK hold the edge over RCB in head-to-head encounters, RCB skipper Virat Kohli, interestingly, has scored the most number of runs (732) against CSK, while Dhoni has 710 runs against RCB. Among today's bowlers, Harbhajan Singh has claimed the most number of wickets (20) against RCB, while Umesh Yadav has picked up 10 wickets against Chennai. List of players who have played for both the sides : Albie Morkel, Muralidharan, Parthiv Patel, Dirk Nannes, Badrinath, Mccullum, Watson,Kedhar Jadhav, Arun Karthik, Tim Southee, Karn Sharma, Pawan Negi, Jakati, Abhinav Mukund and Samuel badree. Considering their records in the IPL 2018, CSK were the top performer as they won on both occasions against RCB. While the opening game in Bengaluru was a top scoring one, CSK chased down the mammoth target of 206 and triumphed by five wickets. The return leg saw CSK decimate RCB again in a low-scoring tie as CSK won confidently by six wickets. While CSK are the dominant ones in the rivalry, as they move in as the clear favorites. While both the teams have a star-studded side, the only thing missing from their rivalry is consistency from RCB. Nonetheless, it would be of no surprise if Kohli and his boys manage to turn things around and shock CSK fans. This channel provides an analysis of all the major happenings in the world of sports. Lions vs Warriors, day 1, Potchefstroom, 4-day series
Lions vs Warriors, day 1, Potchefstroom, 4-day series

A record-breaking 301-run seventh-wicket partnership between Bjorn Fortuin and Delano Potgieter helped the title-chasing Highveld Lions recover from a woeful start to reach stumps in a powerful position after day one of their match against the Warriors in Potchefstroom. The hosts closed day one at Senwes Park on a superb 409 for eight after losing the toss and being asked to bat. In what was a sensational recovery, both players hit career-best centuries to help their side recover from a dire 96 for six. Fortuin was unbeaten at stumps on 157 (206 balls, 30x4), his third career century and one that beat his previous best franchise score of 116 scored against the Titans in 2015-16. Potgieter, meanwhile, blasted 145 off 176 balls (21x4, 3x6), the highest score of his career overall in just his 12th game playing first-class cricket. He eventually fell within half-an-hour of the close, but with his side in a powerful position in their bid to chase down the log-leading Cape Cobras. The Cobras began the final round of games just over three points ahead on the table. It was a completely different picture earlier on in the day, though, as Glenton Stuurman (4-87) ran riot with four wickets to leave the Lions in a fix. Kagiso Rapulana (34), Temba Bavuma (22) and Stephen Cook (21) all got starts, but were out inside the first session. However, the Fortuin-Potgieter partnership completely transformed the game as they smashed the previous seventh-wicket record of 214 held by Morne van Wyk and Ryan McLaren for the Knights in 2011-12. Sisanda Magala (3-101) claimed two wickets in two balls at the death, but the Lions still completed the day well ahead of the game. Dolphins vs Knights, day 4, Pietermaritzburg, match drawn
Dolphins vs Knights, day 4, Pietermaritzburg, match drawn

Dolphins vs Knights Rain and bad light ultimately proved to be the main winner as the 4-Day Domestic Series encounter between the Dolphins and Knights ended in a draw at the City Oval in Pietermaritzburg on Thursday. The inclement weather, which led to no play on day two and just over 50 overs squeezed in on day three, again briefly returned on the final day, allowing for only 72 overs to be sent down. To their credit, both teams tried to initiate a result, before the visitors finished the game on 181 for three in pursuit of a target of 295. The Central Franchise resumed at the start of play on 174 for six, but three wickets in 15 balls early on by Keith Dudgeon (3-32) gave the Dolphins hope. However, Rudi Second, who ended unbeaten on 80 (138 balls, 11×4), found support in a stubborn Tshepo Ntuli (one not out) to frustrate the home side, before they declared on 206 for nine. The hosts then attacked their way to 146 for three declared, thanks to quick-fire half-centuries by Sarel Erwee (57 off 72 balls, 10×4, 1×6) and Khaya Zondo (59 not out off 45 balls, 10×4). With only 35 overs available, the Dolphins needed to strike, and strike early too. And they did that through Ethan Bosch (3-44) after he removed Grant Mokoena (2) in the first over, but a partnership of 126 between Raynard van Tonder (60 off 89 balls, 6×4) and Keegan Petersen (71 not out off 92 balls, 7×4) ended all hope of a result. Play was also halted in between due to poor light as the weather again had its say, while right-hander Petersen, one of the stars of the season, went past 5 000 first-class career runs. Dolphins 354-7 decl (MJ Ackerman 137, S Muthusamy 89, K Zondo 34, G Roelofsen 32, E Bosch 22 not out; T Mnyaka 3-71, ZC Qwabe 2-46, T Ntuli 2-111) & 146-3 decl (K Zondo 59 not out, SJ Erwee 57; PE Kruger 1-8, T Mnyaka 1-14, ZC Qwabe 1-53) Knights 206-9 decl (RS Second 80 not out, SC van Schalkwyk 35, TG Mokoena 27, AGS Gous 27; E Bosch 4-82, KJ Dudgeon 3-32) & 181-3 (KD Petersen 71 not out, R van Tonder 60, RS Second 32 not out; E Bosch 3-44) Match drawn Footage: Cricket South Africa
