The third test is underway and what a series we have on our hands. The Aussie batting has always been their weak point and the moment the 2 main batsman got out the Indian bowlers ran through the line up like a pack of wolves. The aussies managed a respectable 338 but the scoreboard does not say it all as the last 7 wickets fell for just 130 odd runs. The bottom line is that the aussies are over dependent on steven smith to score everytime he goes out to bat and if the top 4 which includes David Warner, and Marnus Labuschagne fail then the batting line up looks like a very ordinary one to look at and not the world class Aussie line up of the past. The Indians on the other hand look hungry and the bowling was disciplined at the least. The Indians bowled a good line and length and once the big partnership was broken the indians showed the weakness in the aussie batting line up. The opening partnership was a decent one for the Indians as Rohit who opened the batting along with the young Shubman Gill looked good in the Middle. Shubman who scored his 1st international test 50 showed why he his held in high regard and he went to on to play some astonishing shots and showed he had the mental stability to play at this level. At the close of play the Indians were placed at 96/2 and the main batsman of the team Cheteshwar Pujara and Ajinkya Rahane were in the Middle.
