An amazing climax to the League One Season as Oxford took on Burton Albion. It was a fantastic win for OUFC as it means they finish the season in the playoffs. Join Ian & Thomas from Very Biased Opinions as they review It seemed like such a long shot at the start of the day. Oxford needed to win and hope that Portsmouth slipped up at home to Accrington. But the impossible became possible and that is exactly what happened. Oxford had to beat a tough Burton side, and the U's made light work of the brewers scoring 4 times with, and quite remarkably Portsmouth lost 1-0. A wonderful team goal finished off by Shodipo started the yellows on their way. Then Burton gave Oxford a helping hand for goas 2 and 3. A poor back header left Taylor with an easy finish, and then poor goal keeping saw Elliott Lee's free kick find a way in. A phenomenal Sam Winnall volley rounded off a perfect day. So, Oxford have done it, winning 6 of the last 7 games and now face Blackpool in the playoffs. That will be tough, but for today all Oxford fans can celebrate and be proud of their team.
