Off the back of a game against Ipswich where Oxford were poor but got away with a 0-0 draw today, they tried to do the same, but Pompey found the only bit of quality in the game to win it. The game finished Oxford United 0-1 Portsmouth Portsmouth finally beat Oxford for the first time in a while and it was a lovely goal from white that won the game just after half time. Oxford were sluggish and really didn't play with any urgency until very late in the game. If you count the Pizza World Championships that is 3 games in a row without a goal.
