Virginia vs. Virginia Tech: For the 20th time in the last 22 meetings, the Hokies have defeated the Cavaliers in the Commonwealth Cup, this time being a 33-15 victory. Virginia Tech ran for 252 yards compared to Virginia's only 55 yards rushing. Khalil Herbert led the Hokies offense with 162 rushing yards and a touchdown. Quarterback Braxton Burmeister had 248 total yards and threw for a touchdown. For Virginia, quarterback Brennan Armstrong completed 25 of 46 passes for 259 yards and two touchdowns.
