Bayern Munich manager Hans-Dieter Flick reacted to his side's 2-1 win over Lazio in the return leg of the UEFA Champions League round of 16 on 17th March. The defending champions have qualified for the quarter-finals with 6-2 on aggregate after goals by Robert Lewandowski and Eric Maxime Choupo-Moting. Yet their sporting success has been overshadowed by reports of a dispute between Flick and sporting director Hasan Salihamizdic. Flick assured they "resolved things" and are "relieved" about it. Previously, the 56-year-old has been linked with the Germany job after national team coach Joachim Low announced he will step down after the Euros 2020.
