The India Women's Cricket Team defeated Pakistan Women's Cricket Team by a massive 107-run margin to begin their campaign in the ICC Women's Cricket World Cup at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui in Tauranga, New Zealand. Pooja Vastrakar and Sneh Rana batted for India, while Rajeshwari Gayakwad shone with the ball, taking four wickets. Pakistan's innings, which was chasing 245 runs, never got going and ended in the 43rd over with a meagre 137. Sidra Amin led Pakistan's attack, scoring 30 runs off 64 balls.
