The announcement was made on Suarez's official Twitter page in unusual fashion, with Suarez depicted in cartoon form in the Wild West, entering a saloon bar full of other star players. It was accompanied by the message: 'Forget the past. Be the FUTURE! I’m very excited to announce and join the Puma football family.'The video begins with a foot coming down in front of the camera, wearing a Puma football boot. The wearer, also sporting a poncho and cowboy hat, walks into 'Puma Town' (established 1948) and up to a saloon. With their face still hidden, they enter the bar, before the camera pans up to reveal a cartoon version of Suarez.Other Puma clients are seen in the bar - Gianluigi Buffon is somehow playing the piano in goalkeeper gloves, pausing when he sees the newcomer. Cartoon versions of Lukaku, Balotelli, Griezmann and Balotelli are also represented in the pub, while Juventus defender Giorgio Chiellini - bitten by Suarez at the 2014 World Cup - is the bartender less than pleased to see the newcomer. Cowboy Suarez throws a card down on the bar, bearing the No 9 he wears for Uruguay, before blowing his fingers - smoking like a gun - and walking off into the sunset. As part of his new deal, Suarez will wear Puma's Future brand football boots, newly available in 'shocking orange', according to the company.
